On June 26 ALLIANCE ********************************************* (the never told me theyre a Broker) picked up my belongings from my apt and we set a delivery date for July 1st to new location. On July 28 I changed delivery date to July 10 due to unforeseen circumstances I was then told AM&S had 21 business days to deliver my items (that day is 8/8) to date I havent heard from them.

Alliance movers group agreed to move my household items over a month ago. Part of my items were in the storage and some at home because I was trying to get my house ready for sale. The movers told me that the initial quote was changed and I had to pay $8525 instead of the agreed $3600 and I reluctantly agreed because we were desperate to move urgently. They carried out our items on a Friday with the agreement to have it in ******* the next day but only part of the items were delivered. Only one driver showed up and he told us that the other one had quit but no other details on where the rest of the items were. Weve tried calling daily but no response and weve acquired a lawyer to help us with a demand letter and next steps.

Moving Broker: Alliance *********************************************** ********************* ********************-278-8149x470, ********************************************* created a contract for an interstate move that was fraudulent. Terms were not followed. Job# AL5515324.******'s sub: Peak *** Lines subsequently held my move hostage on the moving date 4/24/21.When ************************ contacts failed to reach out, I contacted Alliance & was told Peak *** Lines would handle my move. Peak *** Lines supervisor **************** demanded additional money after arriving in an unmarked truck, without a crew of professional movers. This is exactly what ***** told me would NOT happen by going with Alliance. Lazva began calling crew only after I agreed to pay more money because I had no choice. Lazva claimed the job was "long carry", which is false. He also claimed the truck space was miscalculated, but ***** and I went over this multiple times, because my property was to be moved in the same truck as another customers as part of a value priced consolidated move. ***** is the responsible party. I would have rented a U-Haul and hired my own crew were it not for his lies. ***** sold me a full service professional move. Instead I was forced to pay $4,000 more than the binding estimate and incurred $3,871.00 in damages to my personal property. I do not know how to seek small claims legal action, given the move was interstate and that I do not have contact information for Peak *** Lines. The stress of this experience has negatively impacted my health. I am sickened when I think of it. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to recoup the $7,871 in damages & overcharge. I would also like to warn others, but have zero faith in online reporting, as I probed the internet for red flags on Alliance to no avail prior to sign off.

in June of 2020 we hired alliance moving to move us from wyoming to *******, an agreed price was agreed on and I paid another 3K for two trucks to move everything upon the day the movers showed up they wanted another **** to pay for the truck, which at that time we had to pay it, not everything was moved and they wanted another **** to load the second truck and at this point we were out **** dollars on top of the **** deposit, I just had a 9MM kidney stone removed and my son had a torn ACL, and we had to rent a cargo trailer to hook up to my truck to move the rest of our stuff. then they would not tell us where our stuff was when we asked, and when it finally showed up they wanted us to meet them at **** PM to unload it, when i meet them to unload trailer I had to pay another **** dollars to have trailer unloaded, which what choice did I have, they had my famalies life in that trailer which was a penske rental truck that had been painted over. After I was able to go thru the storage unit, we had close to 25K in damaged items, My USMC dress blues had been just balled up and put in box, our dining room table was destroyed, and several items were destroyed also, I spent months trying to get in contact with alliance and they not once called me back.

I paid them to move my fish tank. It was clearly stated I needed multiple days notice to coordinate with my fish maintenance vendor. Alliance only tried 1 time to move the tank with only 16 hours notice, which wasn't enough time for us to prepare. I asked for a refund, due to the fact I had to hire a different moving company.I have called Alliance 20+ times, left voicemails, and emails with no response. I had to wait 25 minutes on hold to get someone on the phone and they said they would get it scheduled and call me back. Never received a call back. When I emailed them and asked for a refund, their response was I didn't deserve a refund even though they did not provide the service. I had to hire another company to do the move.I simply want a refund for the services I paid for that were not provided.

We moved from ********** to California. The moving started in June and finished in August. We talked to Alliance Moving and Storage (Job No: AL5516816) then made a contract with them.We provided the necessary information about the things that needed to be moved, both household belongings and two cars. The agent said they could offer good price due to the pandemic and the combined move including cars. Original estimate was $2949.50 for the household belongings and $1,800 for the cars. Later, we were told by the pick-up driver that incorrect rate was used (within-state move instead of inter-state move) and that the estimate of volume was too low. So the driver could not load all of our things, and we had to throw away a lot of things. As for car shipping, we paid $400 up front, so that the remaining $1,400 had to be paid to the driver at the time of delivery. However, the driver asked for total of $2,800. He said that he won't deliver the car if he doesn't receive the amount. In addition, he did not come into the community to deliver the cars, but he stopped at the main road so that I had to walk the distance back and forth to retrieve the two cars. The outside of the cars were okay. However, door of one car, which had light color leather, got dirty with black oil stains. I told the driver about the oil stains and asked for proper compensation. He didn't understand English very well, so I explained to him several times. Then he closed the car doors and said that he's going to leave with the cars. I had to give him the payment and receive the cars. Moreover, I can't find the car shipping company information. They used Coast to Coast Auto transport when signing, and ****************** when receiving the initial payment through Zelle. Alliance Moving and Storage arranged the move, and we had to deal with all the problems that surfaced afterwards. We are extremely offended from how they do the business, also exhausted from having to go through all the hassles.

We hired Alliance moving and storage company to move My mother’s furniture from Florida to RI. We signed the agreement and paid them in the amount of $2484.51 in September 1, 2021 and canceled the move within the 3 allotted days on September 3, 2021 emailed their required signed form they emailed reflecting a refund minus 20% for their cancellation fee amount of refund to be $2,366.00. I also spoke with a Supervisor on September 3rd to report the cancellation. I have many many emails back and forth with them but they stopped responding and have not refunded my elderly mother her money. Please help get her rightfully $2, 366.00 refunded to her ASAP. They reported in an email I attached for your review that they refunded her back to her back account but they never did then I got an email from Holly with my persistence months later saying another firm needs to be signed as it was traced. I explained one copy was traced over in marker as the form they emailed for my mom’s signature was very light print but I also emailed an untraced signed copy with the same email back which I attached for your review. I’ve also asked that they mail her refund because the bank account she paid from has been closed. They can mail her refund to 24 Lands End Way, Swansea, Ma 02777. Please let me know if you need any further documentation or have any questions. Thank you so much!! Daughter-Power of Attorney-Stacey Parris For Donna M Lafazia

I was in a rush to reach my next military duty station. I had to be at a military exercise in early July, so I did not have time to wait for the Navy to move me. Alliance displayed all the scammer red flags prior to my move, but I was a new DITY mover and did not know any better. Alliance took an estimate of my furniture over the phone and provided me with a semi-reasonable estimate cost that ended up only being 50% of the actual final cost. Alliance quoted me $7K but the final bill was over $12K. I moved from a small 1,200 sq ft 2-bedroom condo, approximately 4K lbs, just 15 hours away. I was so upset, I lost many nights of sleep and suffered from anxiety for weeks. How could they scam a military service member? Alliance immediately harassed me to pay a large $2,500 deposit over the phone, not knowing Alliance was a broker and not actual movers or storage. They outsource to low budget movers. There were about 3 or 4 separate subcontracted moving companies involved (Witty Movers and Delivery LLC, Accolade Moving and Storage LLC and Trucks on Call Moving and Storage). Their addresses in GPS were all home residences or empty buildings. I called Alliance to complain, and they did nothing and said too bad. After they received the down payment, they stopped answering my phone calls and my emails were rejected due to bad email address on website. Eventually, three movers arrived from MD in a rented Penske truck. It was a Hispanic man who barely spoke English, his wife or girlfriend who I caught making out inside my living room, and his friend or brother. After they loaded the truck, he told me I exceeded the square footage and charged me an additional $5,000 on top of the initial estimate. There was nothing I could do since they had my deposit and all my furniture in the truck. This move should have cost less than $6,000 total and I deserve a partial refund.
