I went in to have my tires rotated. I have newer rims and tires on my truck. We paid very good money for those rims and tires. I take care of them. I was recommend this place from a friend, so I went. My rims did not have any scratches or nothing with them. They rotate them and I get home and look and each rim has a huge scratch on them in the same spot. I went back and showed them and they said they didn't do it but they did. it's from the impact wrench rubbing on my rim. I asked for them to have repaired and they had management call me, they called and nope they wouldnt cover the repair. It's about $500 for this repair and why should me as a customer have to pay for their mistake. They also recommended the repair person.

The customer came to our store on Dec 21, 2022 for a tire rotation, which we performed.  The customer later came back and showed us his wheels with deep scratches and chipping on the wheels and represented we caused the damage. Our manager looked at the damage and conveyed back to the customer that it is impossible for us to cause that kind of damage simply on wheel rotation. An air torque wrench was used to remove the lug nuts, but that is done on the inside of the wheel and did not come close enough to the edge of the rims to cause a deep scratch. The damage the customer showed was on the outside of the rims on all four of his wheels. Our tire technicians always respect customer property and if we cause any damage while we are working on a customer vehicle, we let them know and take care of the damage caused right away. In this case, our technician worked on the inside of the wheel to remove the lug nuts and rotate the tires. The air torque wrench did not come close to the outside of the wheel to cause that damage.

Please note that we did not sell the tires or wheels to this customer. The only service we provided was a tire rotation. This is also the first time this customer ever came to our store.  The damage shown by the customer is more indicative of damage caused by mounting new tires on the wheel or hitting a curb.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because my rims were brand new and it's not from mounting. I went to 2 other tire places and they said it's

from the handle of the gun they use that rubs in that exact spot.  Its sad that a company will not honor when do they something wrong. It's an

accident and accidents happen but taken ownership of the accident is what you do as a business. Some people do not take care of their stuff but

I do and now I am the one that has additional expenses for an accident that was done by the business. Yes, this was my first time there as I was recommended and

obviously that didn't work in my favor.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

In response to Mr. ******** we have attached 2 pictures of the equipment we use to remove and tighten lug nuts. You'll see that the equipment we use cannot cause the type of damage Mr. ******* is claiming.  Our professional opinion is the damage occurred when your tires were mounted.
