    April 22, 2024 Hometown Pest Control Salesman was too large to get all the way in my attic. He promised spraying 3 ft up and 3 ft out. The one who came ran out of spray after 1 minute and went back to the truck to get a small jug of crystals. He put just a few down in the back of my house and pretended that would take care of the problem. That was not what I expected. I canceled the contract within 3 days as stated on the contract by law because they did not spray and ants did not stop or since then. I have been harassed by the company since and now threatening to send to collections.

    I pre-paid for one year of pest control service. Several years in a row. When my subscription was up and the price increased, I replied via email to cancel the subscription. The past couple years they have only been spraying my sidewalk and in front of my ********* live upstairs in a condo unit and I had requested from them previously to only come when Im home so they can spray inside. I told them several times I dont need my sidewalk sprayed my condo association has outdoor pest control. The pest control company is now claiming they had already sent someone out to do a service without asking if I wanted to renew the contract, or was willing to pay the higher fee, which I am not. My question is am I liable to pay for a service that I did not request? I also cannot state if they were here or not I see they have an invoice with my signature on it. That mustve been copied as I was out of town on this day as I can prove with my airport parking receipt and work documents I was not home to sign this. I did not have an appointment to receive any type of pest control service at my home nor did I make any future appointments.. I also see no documents in my online account at all showing I had scheduled any future appointments besides what I pre paid for. Thank you, ***************************

    I attempted to pay my bill online as I always have, and my account has been sent to collections! My last payment (which was current with never a past due balance) was made on November 2, 2022. I believe it is illegal to send an account to collections after being a customer for over 5 years, always paying on time. I attempted to contact the office to pay over the phone today, Dec. 17, 2022 and was told billing was not in and they could not take my payment. Management is notorious for not calling back. I spent 2 weeks waiting for a return phone call, emailing various departments and calling myself due to their price increase. Awful customer service.

    Spoke to the customer advised her the technician did perform the services. Not sure why she couldn't get on the portal to make the payment that was due. The account was not sent to collections. I took payment from the customer. Issued her a credit for the balance. The account is paid in full. Thank you, Happy Holidays.
