On Thursday, July 6, 2023, my sister and I met with the Social Worker at the Nursing Home where my mother, ******************************** resides. My mother's shower has not functioned since entering the facility in March of this year. She only just let us know because she had been asking the personnel for assistance. She then found a community restroom with showers and began wheeling herself there. When my uncle found out about this situation, he too, complained to the Nurse and Social Worker on July 5, 2023. We were all assured that Maintenance would repair the shower or repair whatever needs to be replaced within ***************************************************************************************************** the shower head. I followed up with the Social Worker on Saturday, July 8, 2023 via email and every 2 days after that without any resolution about the shower. It is now 2 weeks later and to date my mom's shower still isn't functioning. She needs around the clock care and cannot be home alone so she now lives there. I have been in communication with the Social Worker and she has been helpful however she isn't the Director and cannot make decisions for any other department then her own. This Social Worker is the only personnel who has put herself in a position of assistance.I really need assistance getting my mother's shower working so that she can be comfortable.
