I went to get my eyes checked I tried a pair of glasses and everything was good. When they came back they were to small. I asked for a refund, she said they dont give refunds. She said she would make it up and give me a different pair, my daughter had put in a order for glasses to and hers came back already, but now they say someone else picked up my glasses? Where is the proof that I picked them up? Now Im out of $215. Dollars and no glasses people run the other way from this placeStanton Optical Response

I bought my glasses from the optical store in ********** Florida in March. The frames that I ended up with dont appear to be the same ones I picked out. The frames are very flimsy and cheaply made definitely not worth the money. They werent even fitted on me when I picked them up. I wouldnt recommend this business.Stanton Optical Response

I love Stanton Optical. Fast yet very thorough service. Not to mention a great price. Way less expensive than America's best. I know because I went to both.By far better deal with Stanton. Also I must mention the manager *************************** at the *********,*** location. She was the best,friendliest helper. Have contacted customer service three times about my glasses have yet to receive glasses have now requested a refund of my money $364 customer service said this would be done in 48 hours that was a week ago contact the customer service again today still no glasses and money has not been returnedStanton Optical Response

To start, my story is like **************'s below but only worse! I drove 50 miles one way to have new lens put in my safety glasses frames. I was told on 3-18-24 it would take 7-10 days for the glasses to be ready, I paid in advance. Today is 6-18-24 and still no glasses. No phone calls to their order status lines have helped in any way and there is no direct number to the Anchorage store. After my third round trip to town to try and get my frames and money returned I am yet to see either. ALL I WANT NOW IS TO HAVE MY EXPENSIVE SAFTEY FRAMES AND MONEY RETURNED!Stanton Optical Response

Purchased 6 months supplied of contact lens for my wife because of $200 rebate that store sales rep promised. After receiving product and trying to submit rebate online, I surprisingly found out it is only $50. Called back to the store and made a complaint, finally got a call back after few days saying that I was given wrong rebate, and asking me to go back in the store to pick up new one. So I went back, and the associate in the store told me that I should be getting $100 rebate which is printed on receipt, PLUS the original $50 rebate, one is offered by vendor and the other is by their company. $150 is closed enough to $200 I think, so I accepted it. Went trying to submit rebate at night again, I found all rebate forms are having the same website for submission, and the total amount of rebate is only $50!!!! What a scam and wasting my times of going back and forward. Not going back to this store again, and I am going to find out if what they are doing is illegalReview from Linda R

The advertising is a bate and switch set up. They are very unprofessional and obviously have never had any training in the eye care profession. The exam is done without a optimistic in the building but over the internet. The prescription for both the eye glasses and the contacts were way off and not anywhere close to what I needed. When I complained all I got was a feble I'm sorry and was only refunded $ ***** out of the $ ****** dollars I was charged. I had to have another complete eye exam with a actual optometrist to get the right prescriptions. This company pray on the poor and uninsured very sad.Stanton Optical Response

The customer service at the stores are pretty amazing, until theres something wrong with your order/prescription, then youre in the wrong. I waited nearly 14 days to receive my new glasses, got a text and email stating they were ready for pickup, about 3 hours later I traveled an hour to the store just for them not be ready, and the clerk promptly started working on them, in the process of her moving swiftly my lenses were somehow tampered with, as I noticed she wasnt wearing gloves.The store agreed to give me new lenses that would cost $50. I declined the offer, and requested a refund excluding the comprehensive eye exam which I thought was unique. But didnt want to risk waiting another 2 weeks for them to come.I wore my glasses for a day or so, and it bothered me.. thus I called customer service to escalate the matter, they didnt help me all the better. I just want to send these back and get a refund. This is ridiculous.Review from Sarah C

Terrible! I use to work for them and they are the biggest scam ever. I would never recommend this place again. 10/10 thankful I dont work here anymore. The manager acts just like a child and always on her phone. They need to be shut down
