The contract we signed with them on 05/28/24 required from us to pay 50% advance payment, so we paid them $ ******. They promised as soon as they receive the approvals for the plan submitted to the city, they will order new windows and doors for us. They received the approval in July, but never contacted us, never called until October when I started calling them.Then the nightmare started: persons I spoke to had no clue when the doors and windows were ordered, and when they will be delivered. So, 6 months later they told me there is a delay from the manufacturer. I insisted to see their communication with the manufacturer showing they delayed the delivery. Very **** admin ***** told me she doesnt want to share this with me and she doesnt know when they will get it and schedule the installation. Today is December 2, and when I called for the tenth time, again they couldnt provide any updates. Because we are suspicious whether they ordered the glass at all, we requested to cancel the contract and get our $ ****** back. We were told the manager has to make that decision, and manager is not available?!Business response

We are in communication with the client, there has been a delay in receiving the remaining material (1 opening) to install the project. As of today, 1/6/2025, the customer and ******************** has agreed to begin installation of the materials currently received beginning on 1/13/2025 with the current expectation of receiving the remaining material in early February. We will keep the customer updated with the status of the *** until it is received and ready for installation. I have attached a copy of the email correspondence in December as well as the install confirmation email.Customer response

We ordered front door and transom window above in May 2024 and are still waiting for delivery. We have called multiple times to get delivery dates and never get any answer other than the product has not arrived yet. They dont return calls for messages left and never follow up to provide any updates as to a new delivery date and no explanation why the manufacturer has not deliveredBusiness response

The manufacturer had a 5 week delay, the door was finally delivered at the end of November. Since then, the door has been delivered and installed for the customer. We performed a final walk through with the customer today 12/11/24 and will perform the final inspection and punch out in the upcoming weeks. the initial complaint of not have the product has been resolved.

We signed contract 02/21/2024, with deadline 20 weeks (which is on 07/10)we paid 7500$, it's about 50 % from whole contract price (14500)We ordered sliding doors with installation for our house,The deadline came and went a month ago, and we still havent been given a firm installation date. Weve tried contacting the company multiple timescalling several times just to get ahold of someone who would actually take care of us and give us answers (as for me looks like they are ignoring us). I even had to stop by the company in person to address the issue. I offered them the option to cancel my order and provide a refund if they couldnt keep the contract. Instead of resolving the issue, they didn't do anything.We sent emails to several people in the department, only to receive a response five days later, saying we would get a call the next day. It has now been four days since that promise, and we still havent heard anything.Business response

Hello,
Couple days after I sent you a complaint, the A-Christian called me and offered the installation date, during that conversation we discussed a discount for inconvenience with some additional conditions, I agreed.
After installation (on 08/13, 08/14) they called me and said that they changed the conditions on their side (they cancelled the discount or conditions for that discount) and forgot to tell me about that.
Also, during installation installers scratched a lot my new doors in a few spots around, doors are not leveled and some of the parts are not installed properly with big gaps. I was promised service tech will come and everything will be fixed after inspection, I passed inspection, service tech came 2 days later and didn't fix those issues.
I sent them this complaint, but still didn't hear any solutions from them.
I don't know what to do right now and I tried to fight with them at the same time, I paid them a lot of money and now have damaged and not finished doors.Customer response

We are working to rectify the on going issues with the customer's product. The issues do take time to fix as the manufacturer is involved for warranty purposes. As of today, 10/18/24 the manufacturer has ordered the parts for the customer and we expect to receive the materials to finished the work on 10/28/24, this is still an estimated delivery date and subject to change but this date is the current timeframe.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because the company has not completed the project. After experiencing multiple delays, I had to undergo three inspections before receiving any meaningful communication from them. During the most recent inspection, the inspector identified the following damages that need to be addressed:
A new astragal (deep scratches)
6 sticks of s**** covers (white) short
1 stick of sill cover (white) short
2 new screen panels (left and right, active and inactive)
A new screen track (top and side jambs)
12 dust plugs (5589) missing
10 dust plugs (4659) missing
8 white inch hole plugs
Replacement of two out of three door panels, which need to be reinstalled, requiring an additional two days of work.
Despite this list, I am still waiting for these parts to be ordered and shipped to the dealer. The project, which should have been completed within 20 weeks, has now stretched to 8 months, and I am unclear as to when it will finally be done.
I cannot consider this matter resolved until the installation is completed to the promised standard and within a reasonable timeframe.Sincerely,

The materials we received by from the manufacturer and have been checked into our warehouse. We will call the customer to to coordinate the service field visit to complete the work within the next 48 hours. Our current timeline has been in line with the most accurate information given to us currently. we will continue to work with the customer and manufacturer until the issues have been resolved.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: A-christian scheduled an appointment with me on 11/18 and 11/19/24 (for 2 days repairs) and they promised they ordered all parts and will fix everything in those days, 11/18 they came after 1 pm after few calls to company (appointment was scheduled at 8:30 am), so they fixed just small part of all damages; 11/19 they didn't even send installation crew, supervisor came and confessed they were missing parts, nobody ordered it for my project and he promised now he will take care of that, he will ordered everything necessary but I need to wait another 2-3 weeks or so. I don't understand how this company still in business and state didn't revoke license yet

March 25 2024 I paid $422.00 att ***** or *** replace glass in bottom of my bedroom window. I talked to them several times. Workers came they cannot see why I cannot open window. The workers opened window by hand yes it did open after they left I tried to open window and the window will not open. By the window crank does not open.or close window .I am 87 years old and need to be able to open window for air. Also I have large anurism. They are paid in full. On Monday, 03/25/2024, our Glass Department replaced a glass in a window for *****************. While our technicians assisted with the reglaze, it's important to note that they did not open the windowMrs. ****** herself opened it.
***************** has expressed concern that we applied a substance to prevent her window from opening.However, I want to assure you that our technicians only used glass cleaner during the service. Our team does not carry any spray or substance intended to impede the functionality of windows.
Furthermore, it's important to note that our primary task was to replace the glass, and no damage was caused to the window frame during this process. Our technicians adhere to professional standards and take great care to ensure the integrity of the window structure is maintained while carrying out repairs or replacements.
On 03/27/2024, ***************** informed us that her window could not open. In response, we promptly sent our technicians to assist her with the matter as a courtesy. According to our installers' report, the window opened and closed properly, as demonstrated in a video showing its functionality. We cannot upload the video in this response but can provide it if requested.
Despite this, ***************** later reported that her window wouldn't close. We offered to revisit the issue but explained that due to the nature of the service, there would be a $250.00 service fee, which covers the cost of sending technicians for additional visits.
We want to reassure **************** that we are committed to resolving this matter to her satisfaction.Given the age of the window and considering the ongoing issues, our Window and **************** proposed offering ***************** a new window as a resolution. Contracted to A Christian Glass and Mirror for an install of hurricane code windows in December2022. We are currently rectifying the issues with the customer project. As of today, 4/8/24, the paperwork that was mentioned in the original complaint has been fixed and processed. We have scheduled with the customer and the building department to have the final inspection take place this week on 4/12/24. We are also currently in the process of replacing some damaged components of the windows for the project.Customer response

I have just had the window installation independently inspected following your latest repair and replacement visit. A few issues remain that need to be rectified.
1/The 2 left side sliding windows are bobbing. Not running smoothly on tracks.
2/The sliding window stops are 4 at the top and 2 at the bottom. On the right sided window, the 4 stop has fallen out of the track.
3/The right-hand trim on the third set of windows is not flush. This could be due to the right side of the frame not being square.
4/ Need to touch up cuts exposing the raw aluminum on the frames with enamel.
In general the quality of the install is poor.
We will be leaving for the ** at the end of April so please schedule the rectification of these issues as a matter of urgency.

The follow-up the customer posted was addressed and scheduled for service on 4/23/24. The primary issues were resolved however at the time of the service a few additional cosmetic issues were found. The customer advised they are leaving town until November so we have the remaining issues documented and will rectify them once the homeowner is available again to schedule. I have attached a screen shot of our project manager's notes after his visit on 4/23/24 documenting them remaining items.Customer response

We at ****** Association have tried in good faith to do business with this A Christian Glass. We are a 55 and older community. Many disabled on limited incomes . We thought we were contracting a reputable company with integrity. Unfortunately all we see are different people at A Christian Glass emailing me with different stories. Sounds like classic delay and distract. We paid A Christian Glass over $118K of our hard saved money We simply want the job done right and finished . Seems to be much to ask for with this company. We have dealt financially in good faith. We are simply asking A Christian Glass to fullfil their contractual obligation . The doors they owe us, the permits that still need to be closed, the installed peepholes. Is this too much to ask for? Taking advantage of elderly community financially comes in many forms. ** 7/15/21, contracted with A Christian Glass to install 3 tombstone & 1 oval impact glass windows & a two-pane door. Told that project should be completed in Oct. Measurement team came out in Oct to measure windows for 2nd time. Checked in on 11/2 and 11/8 and was told they would get back to me ASAP. No updates, contacted them again on 11/29 -no response. Contacted on 12/2/21 and was said windows to arrive in early Jan. ** 1/31 I sent email on status. ** 2/2 they responded, said the windows will be in the shop by months end. No updates - contacted them on 4/11 to request a status. They responded back on 4/12 that they would look into it. Again no response, on 4/21 had to email again for update. ** 4/22 they responded back only door arrived. ** 5/10/2022 installation of door occurred. No updates from 5/10 until 6/27 when they emailed that they need to create an addendum to the contract to separate the door from the windows to complete inspection. Again they needed to remeasure the very same windows for a 3rd time. ** 7/13 was told the glass should be cut that week and be ready to install on 7/22. No updates - I had to contact them on status on 9/2. They responded to set up inspection for the door on 9/9 but no word on windows. ** 9/9 inspection on door occurred, however final punch out list to finish the door was never completed. Contacted on 9/21/22 asking for update. Was told the windows were arriving 10/3. No updates until 10/10/22, when I contacted them, was told glass arriving on 10/15. No updates until measurement team shows up at my house on 10/18, unannounced, to measure those very same windows for the 4th time. ** 10/18 was told glass was to arrive on 10/19. ** 10/20, was told glass did not arrive. ** 10/25 was told the glass did not arrive, they would go to the manufacturer the next day and find out what is going on. No word back, contacted them on 10/28 -no response. After 15 months, I just want this project to be completedBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because it is not accurate as they have not been in contact with me for the last 27 days despite my requests for an update. The last I heard from the company was on 12/2 with a message that they would get back to me the week of 12/4 with an ETA. Once again I never heard back from them. On 12/19, I requested an update from the company, again I have heard nothing back from them.It is incedibly emabarassing to have guests in the house to see a broken window in their room.

On June 22, 2022, we had ******************* come to our house to discuss installing a new front door, hurricane windows and hurricane doors in our ******* room. We paid a deposit of $49,106.20 for the products and then owed the balance upon installation of these items. The expected timeframe was 12 weeks and the deposit was collected so the orders could be placed for the actual products. We came to learn in August that they had not ordered anything and there were multiple people that had been fired or resigned. We started over working with **** again and then were told on August 12th the orders had been placed for the doors with installation starting the week of October 21st. With this commitment, we decided to continue the project. It came to our attention this week that they had still not done the work to order our products, permits or even start the project and that it would now be another 3 to 4 month delay to mid-January timeframe. We have incurred additional expenses above this to coordinate the other remodeling projects and now have still not had any work done to deliver doors, windows or front door. We had supplied them with our structural drawings as well to support how to install the doors, paid a contractor to meet with them and discuss sloping of our flooring for this project as well and delayed the remodel for 4 months at our own expense. We were told today via an email exchange when we stated this is unacceptable and we expect a refund of our money that they would see us in court. I explained that we paid them in good faith to deliver these services, but we are not responsible for the way they run their business, high employee turn over rates or the fact that despite holding our ~49K we have incurred interest charges, other fees and they have stated they will return $0 to us for the services and products not delivered. This is a misrepresentation of multiple employees and the owner himself has decided to keep our money with no explanation.Business response

Besides Installing the corner Impact window months later than promised. I was put a manufactured irregular damaged Impact window. As soon as they installed, a window installed that doesn't even open had water leaks everywhere. In the middle of my Living room, a window installed with screws showing everywhere without being capped. All the insulations/Caulking around the windows were extremely sloppy, overlapping, piggybacking, Loose, etc. etc. I wrote to them multiple times. We have been in communication with the homeowner from the very beginning. He refuses to install the fire detectors required by the city which is delaying our final inspection. This is something he must legally do to close his permit.
Pictures show screws and silicon exposed but that will get covered once final inspection has been completed. The installation was only 2 big storefronts.
Our crew will clean the windows once Final Inspection has passed and they are able to remove the stickers and install the covers.
There was a water leak but it was in the unit above. Our ******************** went out to Kopatsis the very next day to look at it but there were no signs of water intrusion or damage and even his tenant reassured ****** that there was no damaged cause by the water leak.
At this point, we are only waiting for the homeowner to comply with the City Guidelines so ****** can schedule the fire and final inspection.Initial Complaint

File# 19-1171 ********* We are Canadians who spend 4-5 months every winter in Florida. In December of 2019 we signed a contract with aforementioned company for manufacturing and installation of two high impact windows in our condo. The company representative was **** ********. He promised that everything would be completed by end of February of 2020. In March of 2020 COVID-19 came into place and we called **** ******* who worked in scheduling department of A-Christian glass. She said the windows will only be ready in April. We left Florida on March 23, 2020 under directions of Canadian government, but let **** know that we will be in touch, once the COVID-19 situation improves. Then both USA and Canadian governments closed the border and we only came back to Florida on December 5, 2021. We called **** on December 6, 2021 and talked to her about the installation date. On December 20, 2021 **** informed us that our windows were damaged in warehouse and said that they order a new ones. On January 7, 2022 ****** **** emailed us stating that the windows were ordered and will be ready by the middle of March. On March 7, we went to the company office and met with ****** ****** (tel# 561-332-7014) She is Residential Department Manager. She was very nice and said how much she appreciates our patience and understating. And then games begun. I am attaching our texts exchange which is self explanatory. She called us Friday, March 25 late in the afternoon and said she gave our file to the CEO and that she will let us know on Monday, March 28. We will get our deposit back or if they have a right size of the windows they will install it. Nothing of course happened on March 28, 2022. We have all supporting emails and attaching our texts exchange. We paid $ ******** by our credit card in December of 2019.Business response
