  AmCoat sells Rhino Shield Ceramic Coating. They guarantee 25 years. That is what they are advertising then and now. Their product did did not last more than 6. I complained and they stated quote "We are AmCoat Industrial, the manufacturer and supplier of Rhino Shield coatings to independently-owned and operated contractors throughout the country. AmCoat sells the product to painting contractors such as Rhino Exteriors who then market, sell, and install the product in their area. You contracted with and paid Rhino Exteriors to install Rhino Shield on your home, but unfortunately Rhino Exteriors ceased operations according to our records." Never once was it explained I was hiring "Rhino Exteriors." The top of my signed contract has Rhino Shield on it. AND THE BBB Accredited Service.

  AmCoat Industrial sells Rhino Shield Ceramic Coating to independently-owned and operated contractors throughout the country. AmCoat Industrial does not advertise. Any advertisement Mr. *********** saw was done by the local contractor, Rhino Exteriors Wisconsin, LLC.
  
  In response to Mr. ***********’s claim “Never once was it explained I was hiring Rhino Exteriors”.  The contract that Mr. *********** signed has Rhino-Exteriors printed on the top left hand corner and to the right of his signature. Rhino Shield Wisconsin is listed on the center top of the contract.  I believe Rhino Shield Wisconsin was the DBA for Rhino Exteriors. No where on this contract is AmCoat Industrial listed. This is a contract between Mr. *********** and Rhino Exteriors of Wisconsin, LLC. It is not a contract with AmCoat.
  
  Mr. *********** has requested a refund of the money he paid.  The money he paid was to Rhino-Exteriors Wisconsin, LLC. AmCoat Industrial received no money from Mr. ***********.
  
  Below is the complete email that was sent to Mr. *********** on 9/27 and again on 11/14.
  We are AmCoat Industrial, the manufacturer and supplier of Rhino Shield coatings to independently-owned and operated contractors throughout the country.  AmCoat sells the product to painting contractors such as Rhino Exteriors who then market, sell, and install the product in their area.  You contracted with and paid Rhino Exteriors to install Rhino Shield on your home, but unfortunately Rhino Exteriors ceased operations according to our records.  
  
  We honor the product portion of your warranty for valid claims. In order to proceed, I need a copy of your contract and warranty and some pictures of the issues you are experiencing.
  
  Your contractor, Rhino Exteriors, was responsible for any labor to service your home subject to the labor terms of your warranty which were set by Rhino Exteriors.  However since they have ceased operation, they are no longer available to perform service labor work for free or for charge
  
  We have been working with Mr. *********** to honor the product portion of the warranty and are currently waiting on the colors that were used on his home to tint the product.  When that information has been received and weather permitting, replacement product will be shipped to Mr. ***********’s home per his written contract and warranty.
