On 1/18/22, my husband had his final fitting after receiving dental implants through Affordable Dentures in Valdosta, Ga. On 9/21/23, I contacted Affordable Dentures in Valdosta, Ga needing the o rings replaced in his dentures. This facility no longer offered this practice and referred me to the Destin, Fl location. I submitted the needed information in for a transfer and was told it was complete. I followed up on 9/22/23 to ensure the request was complete. I was told by the Valdosta location that the information had been sent to “Brandon” for completion. On 9/25/23, I contacted the Destin, Alf location and was told that the information was awaiting “Brandon’s approval”. On 10/03/23, we went into the Valdosta location due to a bottom denture repair. The night before my husband was eating cereal and his bottom denture with the implant posts broke into 3 pieces. The Valdosta location stated they did not have a doctor on duty and that their facility did not complete repairs. They referred us to Destin. I contacted Destin to explain the situation. The office manager for the Destin location was very rude and hung up the phone on me when I tried explaining to her that my husband had a full 4 year warranty through their company and was not required to pay out of pocket for the repair.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: no response was given from Affordable Dentures. A request for a medical release was given by Affordable Dentures and is attached to this response.

Manager of Field Operations has reviewed the matter.
The Valdosta office transferred $2435 on 10/3/2023 to Tallahassee FL and the patient had a new set of dentures made.
The patient has not contacted the Tallahassee office requesting a refund

I am rejecting this response because: only a certain amount was transferred to the Tallahassee office by Brandon for the warranty. Per our certificate, the warranty is valid until 2026, since the dentures were fixed this time does that mean they will not be repaired next time if this were to happen again. The entire situation could have been avoided to begin with if the company stood behind their warranty certificate and maintained professionalism.

11/18/22 Called to schedule appt with website #. Asked about the type of implants and services provided, appt was scheduled for week of 11/21. First visit was told temp denture can be provided till implants were scheduled. Impressions were taken and paid $1278 with next visit scheduled. 11/29/22 visit was temp fitting and was told that this was all they had planned on doing since another doctor would need to come from out of town come in as he wasn't licensed to provide implants. We explained that we had come in to get implants not dentures, Dr tried to convince us that it would be long process and costly. The dentures were not fitting, so we told them this is not what we asked for, and felt the advertising was misleading. We asked for a full refund, they stated that it would take several weeks for corporate to review prior to getting approval.Business response

The patient was issued a refund the date the complaint was made. I spoke with patients mother and I told her I was issuing her refund back to her card number ending in 1003. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank you, ******* ********
