My husband and I purchased a home in the Sandestin Community of Miramar Beach. We hired a contractor that was highly recommended by our Realtor. At one point, the contractor stated that there were signs of fire in our kitchen from aluminum wiring. He suggested replacing the aluminum with copper wiring. Since many homes in our Maryland community burned down due to aluminum wiring, we insisted on ONLY a LICENSED electrician to work on the wiring. At the conclusion of the work to be performed on our home, we discovered that under the supervision of the contractor, person(s) were squatting in our home, possessions were taken, and an array of trauma was done to the home. We could tell that new wiring was placed therefore we visited the permit office in DeFuniak Springs. We learned that an electrician named Glen ******** from Akron, Ohio opened the permit. Additionally, a person named Jon **** was listed. NO EVIDENCE OF ZEUS ELECTRICAL WAS STATED IN THE PERMIT OFFICE. Stunned and concerned with the damage to our home and the vast array of things taken, we received a phone call at 7:00pm one evening from a woman identifying herself as Ms. Julia ****** the owner of an electrical company. She was demanding payment from us in the amount of $25,300.00. Since we already paid our contractor $30,000.00 for his quote of $25,000.00 for electrical work, we clearly hesitated. This woman said she needed to immediately come to our home and collect payment or "see what happens to you." She said, without her visit, that she could not guarantee her husband's work (later identified as Luis ********* ******* ******* and principal of Zeus Electrical). HE IS NOT LICENSED WITH DBPR TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK. MS ****** IS NOT LICENSED WITH DBPR AS AN ELECTRICIAN NOR IS THE CONTRACTOR ( in any capacity) WHO WE PROCURED WITH THE BLESSING OF OUR REALTOR.

Cont'd from our previous review....We discovered ZEUS Electric Services, LLC / Luis ********* ******** *******- an unlicensed electrician rec'd a cease and desist from DBPR on April 10, 2023. Ignoring it, he came to our home in May, 2023 and replaced all of our electrical work at the instruction of another unlicensed contractor. We were told both were licensed.
