Wonderful program! Our auction house in the Netherlands has used Asheford graduates in the past, and we continue to do so today. I just completed a refresher course with them to update some appraisal credentials and found the curriculum to be well-defined and very comprehensive in its overall scope. I received my original certification from this school over thirty years ago, and am as impressed today with their program as I was then! Full kudos... Thank you Asheford.

Thank you to Instructors and all who work there. I took my Courses from Japan as I am in sales for Asian art and antiques. The teachers were very good, even though my English is not. Completed my studies last month from the UK and just wanted to thank everyone involved from the school. I've taken two other online courses (one from NYU), and have to say this program bested both, and I'm not even talking about content, but just in terms of layout alone! The course itself was superb, but these folks could probably teach the big schools a thing or two about how to construct a proper online learning platform that actually does what it's supposed to...teach! Hats off to a great antique and appraisal program Asheford. Thanks

The Asheford Institute of Antiques offers a course on antiques appraising that is unlike anything else being offered. It's a deep dive into the word of antiques and appraising that any dealer, appraiser or auctioneer can learn quite a lot from! I completed my studies with this school recently and had a great takeaway experience overall. First off, the staff. They were exceptional in every respect. I truly had this feeling that they were on board with ensuring my success in every way possible. Their advice, and even their constructive-criticism was really beneficial - helping me to understand where I'd gone wrong and where I'd gone right in my studies. I've been in the business a long time, working both in the UK and US, and found their curriculum expansive and very detailed, which I appreciated. The Course layout was also great, and very easy to navigate and use - even on an iPad - and for someone of my advanced years. My time spent taking this Course was very positive, and the takeaway was well worth the cost of admission (which I found to be very reasonable). Thank you for a great offering. Great team - great school. Just graduated and super excited to start putting my studies to work. The Instructors were passionate about seeing me succeed, and really helped motivate me. The content level and information was a lot more than I bargained for, but definitely worth the extra workload in the end. This is a great online class. I gained a new appreciation for antiques and decorative arts! The information I learned was fascinating and opened my eyes to the history and origin of the things I see in antique stores, estate sales etc. The online class presents information in a fun and stimulating manner via reading or video of appraisers in action, museum links, stories of famous cabinetmakers and more. The course is also available in book format. All the information on beginning a business in the field is provided as well. I am so happy I made the choice to pursue my long time interest in antiques and decorative arts. Work hard, enjoy and you will not be disappointed!Asheford Institute of Antiques Response
