      I had an issue with the Louis ******* bag I had purchased on a cruise. I was frustrated because I was unable to register my Louis ******* bag through Louis ******* as it was pre loved It was clear to me that I bought a used handbag however, it was not clear to me that it could never be taken to ******************, and repaired or accepted as real. I reached out to starboard. I sent the purse back and they refunded my money in full. So I decided to leave them a good review. But buyer beware if youre buying anything luxury on a cruise ship, its probably not as good of a deal as it seems. Just enjoy your cruise.

      My husband and I purchased 2 Rolex watches on the 1st day of our cruise trip BEFORE embarkment. They never provided any written or verbal information about the watch, besides it was a great investment. Keep in mind while completing the transaction, the sales rep dropped 1 of the watches in front us but never informed us of any damages as he made it seem like there was nothing wrong. They never provided any written certain BEFORE the sale was completed. Now after sales was completed, we inspected the watches and found the certifications in the bag. It was evident that the certifications indicated that both watches were not genuine, were almost entirely made with aftermarket parts and were made in 1976 and 1990. We immediately returned back to the store and requested a refund (in which, we were told that we are entitled to a full refund before disembarkment). However, the manager that handled the sale told us that there is no such refund policy after sales. With the damage, we were only given the option of reducing the cost of the watch by $500. We felt like we had no option but to take the discount since he refused to provide a refund. After disembarkment, we contact Starboard Cruise and they advised us that we should have asked for a full refund before getting off the ship. We advised them that we did ask and it was on the first day before the ship even left the port, however, the manager refused to. They recommended to email to include the situation and what we hope to resolve. Manager actually emailed with a response and he also agreed that we did ask for a refund but never provided/agreed to it. After that last email, we have been contacting Starboard for an update multiple times and unfortunately, we have not received anything for the last 2 months. This is a fraudulent sale with dishonesty as to withhold viable information about the watches. While I have been patiently waiting on a response I will be planning to contact an attorney if need.

      I purchased a $18000 Rolex on board 12/15/2022 and was advised that was a fair price, and was also given a 30 day price match guarantee. Upon arriving home I found the same watch for $2000 less. I sent the necessary paper work for the price match to Starboard Cruises just to be told that Rolex's are exempt? No where on the price match guarantee does it state that in addition to the sales person telling me it had a price match guarantee?

      I would give 0 ratings for Starboard cruises. Starboard cruises personnel onboard the ships make very false claims (biggest discount that you could get, duty free etc.) and you would bitterly surprised that none of these are true.These items are cheaper outside (or being sold at full price and you could get discounts directly if you were to purchase same item directly online or local store) and you would end up paying customs duty (no duty free).When you call in to cancel the order, you would be told 4 to 7 weeks or sooner and you would still be waiting even after 12 weeks, with no visibility into when it would show up. This company is taking client's money, keeping it to accrue interest, making client's life miserable with so many follow *** to try to move ...Would never do business with Starboard cruises and neither should anyone.. Beware on cruises if anyone says best price, especially if thats from Starboard cruises.

      Starboard Cruise Lines Response

      Customer placed a Special Order for a Trunk Show piece while sailing onboard.  Special Orders are not eligible for Return for Refund since they are specially made for the specific customer.  However, customer was offered a lower purchase price by the manufacturer.  Since customer was not happy with their purchase an wished to cancel the original order and obtain a refund.  An exception to policy was granted and customer's order was cancelled and refunded.

      The estimated completion time for a refund is approximately 4 - 7 weeks from when all documents/items are received for processing.  Since customer's purchase was a Special Order, additional time was required to confirm the status of the customer's item with the manufacturer and ensure manufacturer cancelled and did not ship the order, prior to processing the customer's refund.  

      Customer's refund was processed 10/18/22, and transaction was completed by the cruise line on 10/21/22 to post funds to customer's account.  

      We regret our customer was not happy with the purchase and the timeline to refund his purchase, and hope we can better serve them in the future.

      I bought two expensive jewerly on Carnival cruise line. When I brought it back home.. I took it to get appraised and I was told what I had bought it for was not worth it. I return the item as stated and according to their policy it takes up to 4 to 7 weeks for starboard to return your money back. Well it is past that time and now they are saying I have to wait a little longer .... i will never buy from them with this bad experience and will never take a cruise with Carnival Cruuse line...

      Was told by the Manager that all I needed was to download the Global Blue APP to get my tax refund. I was not given the actual piece of paperwork and was unable to make my claim with Customs as they are unable to stamp an application. I lost out on over $1000. When I contacted Customer Service I received no reply. Since returning home I have also found the same piece of jewelry at a cheaper price. Will not purchase from them again.
