Signed up for insurance Mid January 2023. Was told to pay by January 31 and did. Received a bill 5 days later stating it my payment was due February 31. Knowing it was the 28th it was due. Called docs to schedule an appt and told I am not insured. The a few days later received a bill saying I was past due. Called Molina and asked what was going on. They said I need to pay immediately to continue coverage. I never had any coverage. Canceled immediately my policy. Never received any insurance cards or had any coverage. Called again February 26 as I was getting emails and calls, and mail. Was told you need to pay to keep your coverage. I told them I had cancelled. In March mid March I received insurance cards. I threw them away as I had replaced them with a new ****************** Called again and said I cancelled my policy. Told to disregard the bills. In April I still kept receiving bills and emails and txt messages. I called twice to make sure this would stop. Was told you did not cancel until February 28, 2023 and still owe. I explained I cancelled early in February and never had any insurance coverage at all. Again told disregard the contact. On April 2, 2024 I received another bill to cover my insurance. Again called and was told you owe for insurance coverage in February and I must pay. I refused and stated I never had any coverage and cancelled in early February. They say I never called and never cancelled my policy until February 28th. They refuse to take the amount away and stated that I have to pay it. When I asked for a supervisor I was told No I will not ***** that. I repeatedly asked over 17 times and was refused every time. I must pay or it will go to collections.

** November 2022 I called the marketplace for **************** and spoke to a man named ****** that I now find out is a broker and told him that I needed health insurance. He told me it would be $126.70 a month with a $25 fee added to the first payment for Molina ****************. Well I found out in February I have ******** so I started checking and found out that Molina is being paid $0 which is what I was told I would be paying $126.70 for each month but when I checked after speaking to Molina who says I pay $0 for health insurance and no money has been paid to them so I immediately looked to see my bank account and the money is being taken out by Heartland National life insurance so I called Molina back and they said they had no idea who that was so I called my bank who gave me the number to the place who was taking the money out and when I called them the woman said yes I dont pay for health insurance but they take out for some special insurance that pays the difference that Molina wouldnt cover so I said I never asked for anything but health insurance and I didnt ask for no subsidy or life insurance and she said well the broker ****** explained to you I said mam I asked for health insurance and thats it I would never agree to pay $126.70 a month for some bs subsidy she said well thats the only way you could get free health insurance was to group it together. I dont believe this is true I was approved because my income was not high enough to pay for health insurance this seems like a scam and why would I be forced to take something extra if all I needed was health insurance and was told by everyone I was approved for free insurance. I asked the woman to send my money back and she said there was nothing she could do. That broker ****** I feel tricked me into signing papers saying I was paying for Molina **************** when in fact I qualified for free so he added this extra stuff on and said I was paying for health insurance. Their number ************

We applied on the marketplace and was approved on 11/18/2021 for this plan: Molina Healthcare of Florida, Inc. Constant Care Silver 7 100 Premium tax credit usage ****** and ***** $2051.02 per month Since then, we never received any correspondence from Molina. My Husband is a xxxxxx patient, his clinic needs to confirm his coverage since our 2021 coverage ended with Florida Blue. we never received a member card, but we always get our bill from Molina stating our monthly payment is $0.00. I call Molina on 01/21/2022, no one could find my member # they told me they had to do an escalation to expedite the process. It would take 5-7 business days to receive a welcome kit in the mail. Nothing. I call back on 01/26/2022, they provided me with a subscriber #0012833925 to log into their website to pull my member card. That # is invalid. I called back again 02/04/2022 they made another escalation form member #, It would take another 5-7 business days. Nothing. I call again 02/07/2022 nothing was done about it all they want to do is escalation after another for me to wait 5-7 business days. My last call was on 02/16/2022 still nothing was done. I ask to speak to a supervisor twice, I was diverted to another department or the call got dropped. I am tired of being transferred back and forth between billing and member services. My case #32R627. I call healthcare marketplace to switch from Molina to another Plan I can’t. Since I’m stuck with Molina and apparently will have no coverage for the whole year, I’ve been paying out of pocket which I don’t have much of left, and I’m not eligible for Medicaid, this complaint is my last attempt to resolve this issue before I contact a lawyer. I need access to my health coverage as of 01/01/2022 as promised when I applied. Molina is getting paid for coverage not provided Please help me get my account completed and receive my Member ID# from Molina. I really don't want to deal with them but I don't have a choice. I am stuck with them.
