      We were discriminated against and robbed of our money. Our son was in this fraud basketball league and there is a lot of illegal processes that happen here. The kids are faulted by the inconsistency of the league owner *** and his lack of ethics and presence amongst the parents. He allows his staff to be verbally abusive to not only the kids but also to the parents. He has made countless threats and disrespectful remarks to parents and charged us for a month of membership to suspend us from attending to where our child cannot go to play, so we basically paid for a month with no services. Theres constant cheating and manipulation that happens here. Theres constant favoritism among the coaches and he treats his own employees like trash. Hes disrespected women and parents over the phone cursing becoming irate and extremely unprofessional for someone who preaches their league is so professional and serious. This league needs to be investigated for the fraudulent claims they make and the way they conduct business. Completely unethical and unprofessional, they are only worried about the money they get and not the well being of the children.

      This complaint is said to be submitted by *********************** the wife of ********************************** parents of ********************************** that was in the basketball academy.

      We terminated his sons membership because ********************************** the father of ********************************** acted in an aggressive manner towards a 6 year old kid, at a basketball game in the Miami Dade County Park, the 6 year old kid committed a foul playing basketball with his son ********************************** which is also 6 years old.

      ***************** ran to the basketball court screaming and cursing at the 6 year old kid. Our staff Coaches had to go on the court and tell him to leave he was screaming cursing and telling the kid "where is your dad in going to hurt him etc".

      His wife that supposedly is submitting this claim which I think its him doing it, was vey embarrassed by his actions and was grabbing him and telling him to leave. Which is why I don't think she would file this complaint and speak such lies and allegations toward the academy and myself. They have been in our academy since April 18, 2022 and have always enjoyed it. She would have no reason to try and bash our program and claim we are a fraud and say all those negative lies.

      When this event occurred I waited 2 days to let ***************** cool down, I then called ***************** several times to explain with a goal to explain our disciplinary action, that he has been suspended from the park and was not allowed to return for threatening a 6 year old and his dad. He did not answer my calls nor return them.

      He shows up to the park like if nothing happened about 1 week later on Friday December 2. 2022 at about 5:15pm right before a game and my Park Commissioner ***** calls me and informs me of his presence I tell ***** to have him call me right now and inform him he's not allowed to be there.

      ***** approached him and inform he is not allowed to be there he needs to call me immediately.  When he called me I informed him that he has been suspended because of his aggressive behavior and threats to a 6 year old, his son and wife can continue if they wish to under these terms, he then screamed and threaten me. I then said "the parent coach relationship is not working and I will not tolerate disrespect going and aggressive temperament ********************************** membership is cancelled and I will  refund The current month of December wish you all the best." he then said I am not leaving the park until I receive a copy of the refund. I submitted the refund right away and text him a copy of the refund and then he left the park. As you can see in the screenshot of the text conversation and receipt of refund the time and dates.

      These false claims,complaint and allegations are all driven with immaturity and spite because we had to terminate their membership. 

      A little about us we have been in business serving the community for 9 years now we have 4 locations over 45 coaches, 650 kids and growing we are known as one of the largest and best recreational basketball academies. Our reputation of professionalism and great service, seriousness and being organized keeps us growing with word of mouth which is the best form of marketing. If any of those allegations were even slightly true we would not be paying at this level.

      We are a serious program and have helped thousands of kids throughout our years in business. We have been given awards by commissioners and a former Mayor for what we do in the community. We have never experienced such immaturity and spitefulness you should also speak by phone to his wife *********************** to see if she is the one that filed this claim to see if thats even true. If any of those allegations he or she stated above are true then why were they in the academy for a little 8 over months? We have several coaches and parents that were there and have witness the event mentioned including the father of the 6 year old player that was threatened and that can verify everything stated. I am grateful for this father as he remained cool and didn't entertain his behavior so things won't escalade.  

      Attached are the purchase history to show how long they were in the academy, copy of refund receipt and screen shot foto of my text conversation to ***************** when I sent the refund receipt and explained his termination so he can leave the premises and ***************** registration form ***************** filled out and signed and dated

      In reference to the business in complaint ID ********, after reviewing the response I will agree that the business did refund the monthly charge of $185. If 305 does see this response i would like to say its unfortunate that the business relationship had to end in such a matter. As adults we take accountability where we did react stung and scared at the foul that was committed to our son. My husband did not curse at a child and did not yell at the child, or was aggressive to a child. Just as the other childs father approached my son in the earlier parts of the game stating not to push up on his child our reactions only matched his but the difference is our kid could have gotten seriously hurt due to the other childs negligence. As parents when your child is in danger or could have been potentially hurt that sets a whole emotion that no one can describe unless youre a parent. However, i am not going to disregard the severity of it, as well as disregard the fact that the other child was older than my son and was playing rough throughout the whole game, i record all games. We are committed to our sons basketball journey, we are passionate to this sport, and we want the best for our son which ultimately was not this  league. Though plenty of reviews speak otherwise i can say the way the game is taught here is not the foundation Id like to lay for my son. We were apart of the league for 8 months and only stayed committed because our son is too young to join another league and we didnt want to take the game experience away from him. Regardless, we appreciate BBB looking into this for us and can close the complaint. I should hope in the future 305 takes parent feedback seriously and regularly as we entrust them and entrust that our children  learn real basketball from this professional league you claim. Just having some awards and different locations doesnt mean your conducting your business correctly.
