We are submitting this complaint against CD Distribution for the following reasons. On 7/8/2022, we paid an invoice for our merchandise for $1967.76. During our interactions with CD Distribution, we (Turbonastic LLC) are the ones that provide shipping labels, and we have to cover the cost of our shipping costs. We received an email from the company a couple of days later telling us the number of boxes that would need to be picked up, it was 4; this costs us around $400.00 to pick and be delivered to us. We asked for confirmation on the products that were going to be sent, yet they still forgot four other larger boxes to send; if this is a human error, then this needs to be corrected, CD then sent an email regarding the products we already paid for as not paid and pending cancelation. Because CD Dist. does not deliver outside of a 10 mile distance. Once we received the items, we realized that we were missing more items from this shipment. We then reached out to the company to come to a conclusion regarding shipping because it would cost us an additional 1,200$ to be picked up and shipped due to the number of packages. There was no agreement with the company as they refused to handle their mistake appropriately; this hinders us as a small business as we cannot afford to pay that amount in shipping. We reached out to CD Dis on 7/25/22 to reimburse us for the amount they did not send us in merchandise. They have not followed ** in regards to this refund. This situation could've been handled better than it was to reach an agreement for both parties, yet they sought no resolution in the case. This jeopardizes small businesses if Distribution companies continue to charge what they want, not cover shipping costs.
