On 5/15/22 I met with Chris S**** from Tampa Landscape Solutions to get a quote for sod and sprinkler system installation. He provided an acceptable quote and I accepted. He stated that he would email me the quote and details of the work. I paid a $150 deposit which would be deducted from the quote total. On 5/20/22, I still had not received the email with the quote and deposit paid so I called and left a voicemail message. On 5/21/22 Chris called me back and asked me for my email address again and told me that he would email the document to me. He also stated that he was planning on starting the project on 5/26/22 or 5/27/22 and that he would call me. He never showed up. I never received the email. I called him on 5/27/22 and could not leave a message as the mailbox was full. I called again on 6/1/22, and once again I could not leave a message as the mailbox was full. At that point I checked my bank and the deposit check had cleared the bank on 5/17/22. I knew then that I had been scammed and lost $150. I submitted a bad review on Home Advisors website for this vendor as I had received their information through Home Advisors. I never heard back from Home Advisors and my review is still not posted. Right now Home Advisors website shows three 5-star reviews for this vendor which is very deceiving for the next customer that sees their reviews. I would like the BBB to help me get my $150 back and warn others about this business.
