We received an estimate for *******. When we went to pay with a credit card, we were told there was a 3% "tax" for using a credit card. This was never mentioned in advance or anywhere on the estimate or invoice. Need to pay with cash or check to avoid this "tax"??Business response

We apologize if there was any miscommunication. Our services techs are instructed to provide this information upon completion of the job and receipt of payment. Our Company will be happy to refund the service fee charged in the amount of $78.75 in order to resolve this issue. Please provide confirmation that this is sufficient. Thank you.Initial Complaint

On the date of Jan 14th 2022 we discovered a leak and was in need of a plumber. The name of the business that I called was Phil's Plumbing. The receipt shows repaired. The repair did not last. Approx Feb 9th we discovered that the leak had returned. Notified Phil's Plumbing and was told it would be Feb 14th before someone could come, on the 14th we received a call saying the worker was sick and would not be coming until 17th of Feb . On the 16th I was able to get another contractor to check it out. The contractor said the leak had never been repaired. The contractor removed a connector and replaced with new. We feel tha Phil's Plumbing charged us for actually not repairing the problem. Even though the business I called was Phil's Plumbing it is part of Phillips Plumbing. I tried several times to speak to the owner being told he would call me. I never had any conversation with him. I asked if the belonged to the BBB and was told yes they were.
