    Boston Whaler 2014 Dauntless boat was purchased with a 10 year hull warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The hull is in near perfect condition and up until this past summer had never been stored in water and had been maintained properly. After just three months moored in water, blistering appeared and quickly spread to a 1x2 ft area. Local dealer, estimated repair at $4727. They stated is this a very serious issue that adversely affects the value of the boat. They stated it is rarely seen and should never happen after one season in the water. They also stated that they would not guaranty the repair as the structure underneath the gelcoat could be affected. Boston Whaler states that this is a simple cosmetic repair and is due to the boat being improperly maintained which myself and dealer disputes. Currently, Boston Whaler has offered to cover only $1500 of the $4727 total repair. I believe Boston Whaler should cover the cost of this repair as covered in the warranty offered.

    I purchased a brand new 325 Conques Boston Whaler in June of 2023. The boat was delivered to me with broken and non-functioning mechanical and electronic systems. The poorly engineered network and the Simrad devices that were installed are manufactured by ********************** It took all of last season to get repairs completed by several supporting dealers. These repairs kept the boat out of service for the heart of the entire boating season. Ultimately, Boston Whaler sent a factory technician out to perform an inspection and completion of additional repairs. As of this writing it is impossible to determine what if anything is still in need of service because the boat was stored immediately following the repairs. Boston Whaler made offers to add additional electronic devices to ameliorate my displeasure with their boat, which I refused at the time because I did not want to overtax an already faulty system. Additionally, an offer of warranty extension was made by Boston Whaler customer relations. In my frustration, I have put the boat up for sale and when I informed Boston Whaler of my decision, the reneged on any warranty extension as it was only made for the original owner. I advise you stay away from any Brunswick product. Buyer beware!
