In doing so I find several areas of the work that we discussed and you verbally agreed to were not done. I also realized that you quoted me $1750 for materials of which you only spent $1600 and added the $150 difference to the labor cost. Of the material purchased the landscaper took home 65 of the blocks used for the boarder around the garden each costing $2.50 or $162.50 total. The Landscaper also took home one fabric roll which is listed at $100. He also didnt use all the Maelaleuca Mulch and took home at least 15 bags at $4.00 a bag or approximately total cost of $60. All this brings to a total material cost of which I did not get a sum of $472.20. As mentioned above removing dirt and roots from the garden areas 12 inches deep and replacing it with good garden mulch which would inspire plant growth did not happen. He did not removed all of the old dirt, rocks and only a small amount of the roots requested. His fill cost $50 per yard while in my attempt to fix the non-removal of the dirt and roots I bought some high quality soil for $12 per yard, big difference. He were supposed to line the bottom of the garden before adding the soil with the fabric roll to prevent underground roots from invading the garden plants. He was also supposed to line the inside of the stone boarders to prevent the soil from leaching out of the garden when watered or rained on which didnt happen. You listed on the job invoice the boarder block were gray in color but are white and are not shape the way I showed him when he was putting his quote together. All attempts to resolve the problem have been ignored.
