      In January my water bill spiked tremendously I called and they said that they would try to credit the account I am still not happy with the credit I would at least like another $50 taken off but I was told that wasn't going to happen but the picture should ************ usage. On news channel 6 a guy complained the same time about that as I did but they want to blame it in a leaking toilet even though I shut the pipe off literally when it happened because I was using it when the float went out. I will go to new channel 6 about this.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have spoken to 3 of your representatives that were rude as can be and told me they would not adjust my billing anymore. That I can write the bbb and call a lawyer if I want to but there is nothing they will further due that it was my fault. Look at my bills you can see it was not me it was when on the same day they were installing the fiber optics. Another guy in Deltona went on the news about the same thing and I will go to channel 6 as well your are not taking more of my money.

Our objective is to educate our residents on water from a customer service perspective and provide a positive customer service experience.       It is not that I am rejecting to speak to you I am just not going to close the case until we speak and can come to an agreement. Because I deserve more of a break then what was given to me by far.       Was falsely billed for 510 gallons of water used when there was only one person there for five days the entire teo months and I took a shower once every morning? The meter reader was wrong and customer service refused to look into it.

      Back in may the water department left a notice on my door stating they stopped by for unusually high water usage. I contacted them and spoke with a representative, Janet, who was very condescending. She continually put the blame on me and tried to constantly rush me off the phone. I was attempting to find out why they left the notice and what it was for. She told me they saw nothing unusual and I tried to figure out why my water usuage was so high with her but she had no answer except to file for a courtesy leak adjustment but that I only had a few days to do so as my next bill was coming up. When I attempted to do this it said I must have proof showing the leak was fixed. However they told me there was no leak so that left me at a dead end. When my next bill came in it was over $150. My average bills prior to that were $20. When I contacted them again they said it was too late for a leak adjustment and now I had to file for a bill adjustment. Even though they told me they did not find a leak or see anything unusual originally. Obviously there was a leak. I came home and the was a pipe spraying out water on the side of my house and contacted the water departments emergency line but they were closed so I had the fire department come out and they stopped the leak for me. I contacted the water department again to see what steps needed to be taken and Janet was the representative helping me again. She was condescending as she was the prior time putting all of the blame on me being sarcastic asking why I didn’t do the leak adjustment and there’s nothing they can do. My water has been turned off and my bill is over $700. Before this issue arises I had never had a bill over $25. Janet again said I must pay the balance and they can issue a rollover to my next bill but that wouldn’t “not even put a dent in my balance” according to her. I have been strung around and told to do meter tests, file for leak adjustments with no information. Very unprofessional!

      I was charged over $800 in April and may continued to make payments doubling my usual usage which was $40. Contacted the water dept who told me to send a request to forgive the usage. That I did not use ! I called a plumber who came out to confirm there were no leaks and it must be an mis reading. Then was charged another month then miraculously my usage went back to normal. I continue paying my monthly bill and now they cut it off saying I have to pay in full

      I have been living in my Home 3 years, I have never received a bill for 290 dollars, the water bill has always stayed under 200! I actually saw a worker out here 2 weeks ago claiming he was checking back flow which I found suspicious for him to be out there so long, as well as they were in our neighborhood last week checking the sewer in the area and they were here all night long!! Then I get a bill for 290 dollars, it is even one less person in my household so I need answers where this drastic change is coming from!!!

      I have lived in my home for 6 years and our water bill goes up and down between 10-20 dollars. That I understand and have no problem with. The problem is Nov I paid $152 then it went back to normal and in Jan I paid $224. I have no leaks and that in fact has been determined. I made complaints and have been round and round with this company and with the Commissioners. Nothing has yet been done as far as credit to my account or a full refund. They installed a data reader and I was told my meter was well over a million gallons and should have been replaced a long time ago. They said they flushed it out and said it should now read correctly. I asked if it was possible to have the wrong readings before they fixed it and the answer was absolutely. However I'm told basically it is what it is and that's just money I'll never see again. No one should have to choose between food on the table or water bill. No one should fear opening up their water bill knowing they can be charged whatever the company sees fit to charge them without remorse. There are elderly people with a fixed incomes that this is happening to. Something needs to be done, this company needs to be investigated. I have saved hundreds of complaints via social media on this company for this exact issue. Next step is the news stations. Wrong is wrong and this situation is exactly that. FYI no I don't have a pool or sprinklers nor have I ever.

That adjustment request was denied because she had already used a courtesy adjustment in November 2021 and she did not have a leak for the bill in question. A data logger was installed at her location and her usage since then has been low. She was upset that we would not process another credit being that she had already used the courtesy request a few months earlier. These adjustments are available once every two years. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I absolutely asked for an adjustment and/or credit towards my account. There isn't now nor has there ever been a leak. I think this company is corrupt and over charge people at an alarming rate. We are then told no refund, no credit, and adjustments once every two years!!! That's crazy!! That leaves a lot of wiggle room for you to rake people over the coals. I think a full investigation should be done with your department. There are entire forums on social media about this very issue and how terrible this company is. No one should fear opening up their water bill knowing you can do this and never have to own it. No customer should have to pay for your shortcomings. IF you so decide to give me any I can ONLY do it once every 2 YEARS?! However YOU can steal from me as many times as you want?! Am I getting this right? I have faithfully paid my bill every month for 6 years without issue. Then you overcharged me almost enough to cover 8 months of service. How is it even possible this company is still in operations. Has the news ever been involved? Has this company ever been fully investigated or held accountable? I honestly think its time to get the investigation started, as many people have fallen victim of your negligence.

      I have made my housing management aware of my first water bill being high back in July 2021 only to get no response through email as well as leaving messages on their business phone line to be writing on their app site. the problem was finally revealed in late September when Maintenance was there to fix a light switch that had been broken over a month I was told by maintenance shortage of staff due to coroner virus. The Maintenance man also told me my toilet was running this while he repaired the light switch, he also mentions for me to have it fix I need to put another ticket for that that how they get paid prior to this I have tried to reach out to Deltona water about my bill and got a recording they were out of office training and office will be closed due to coroner virus I got that for months when Maintenance came back out to my home it was October to fix leak prior to that I was already being billed for the leak and still could not get in touch with Deltona water after I thought the problem was fix I got another bill even higher than last I live alone and couldn't understand how when I work all day and all week finally I get someone on the phone from Deltona water and it sounded scripted to blame my bill for sewage charge even though I had a leak I explained and was told could not get credit for the months I was also lied to by saying only two of my bill were high the one in July and in December which don't make any since because the first time Maintenace look at it was in October and a second time December because the problem never was fixed the first time Deltona water failed to give me credit for those months even though my housing management office called them to come out for the leak which Deltona water said they don't handle. Deltona water had been billing me over $400 and are prolonging the credit after being email pictures of my meter loosing 20 gallons of water in two hours now Deltona water will be shutting my water off January 26th 2022

      Deltona water company is over charging drastically. For the past year they said I owe them close to $3000. So where I am with my child and no water for the past 2 months. The water was shut off oct.8. I tried to get a payment plan to at least put the water back on. They don't want to work with me. they just want the full amount in order to get the water back on. They even claim that I used 100,000 gallons and we don't even have a pool. They come out to see if we have a leak. It shows there was NO leak. And the Deltona water company still wants me to pay.they also said once the Deltona water puts a code wrong in the system they can't fix it. So I'm stuck paying for something that was their mistake..

      Deltona water every year send me a bill for 21,800 to 23,900 gallon of water the they said I used but no one is home all day,I did a leak test for 2 hour and for 4 hours no leaks and they said the I used the water,I don't even have a pool and my sprinkler system is off because is been raining every day.How 2 peoples can spend 21,800 gallon of water in 1 month no pool no sprinklers and we work from 8-6 Monday to Saturday
