Paid a deposit of $2000 over a year ago going on to, he was given my property 8 months ago and has yet two return my vehicle I have been given countless completion dates. And communication has become silent.Initial Complaint

On 11/5/2015 I brought my **** Porsche Boxster to have a new top installed, seats and door panels re-upholstery. Since the job was special order I was required to deposit 50% of the total cost for the job. I left a deposit of $1100 on 11/5/2015 and another $400 a few days later. I was told by the owner ****, ******* that he had ordered the parts and was waiting for them and would call when they arrived. I kept coming by the shop and he said he was still waiting however, he was packing to move business to ******* city. When he finally moved I was told he has the parts but he was having a problem with electric and the top was getting stuck. He had someone that was working on the electric. Every time I went to the shop he would say the electric will be ready in two weeks.Hurricane **** hit Aug, 2017, I went to find out what was going on with my vehicle and was told by ****************** that all my parts were damaged and he had to get them replaced by filing a insurance claim. this process took another year. During this time he had my vehicle stored in his front shop. I was continuedly given the run around and they never return calls nor do they contact you with updates at any given time. I was given different dates on the vehicle to be completed and it was never done. ****************** put my car in his warehouse with a bunch of furniture. He had all kinds of furniture and junk on my car. I made him take my car out of his warehouse. At this point in 2019, I was told the car will be ready in a few weeks and I kept getting the run around. 2020 came he blamed covid-19 for a delay in shipping parts and staff shortages. It's 2022 and my car is a shell of what it was when I gave it to ******************. The new tires are dry rotted, rust, scratches and fade paint is on the car. The dash board is completely destroyed. He continues to say the car will be ready in two weeks and the electric is completed. The car is junk enclosed for your review are photos.
