University is charging me for Insurance on my last year after I fill out my information with my ***************** and ***************** as I always have done thorough my entire Master degree. Which now is not letting me obtain my degree after I finished due to this bill. Does not make any sense that I have to paid insurance to school when I am a veteran and I have a Federal private insurance and they have my information on file. I want this charge to be remove to obtain my degree. I have talk to them many times and sent emails and they do not want to remove the charge. As always at the end University always find a way to charge something to people, and students will keep paying to obtain their degree asap. This is outrageous, what they are doing, degrees are already hard to obtain and very expensive. ******* is my academy advisor. I do need help please. Thank youInitial Complaint

Nova Southeastern University Bookstore in ***************, ** is unorganized and unprofessional. I'm a grad student at the school. This is the 2nd time I've spent my money, and they have NOT given me.what I paid for. In the Fall semester 2023, I did received my eBook, but it somehow disappeared, and I had no way of accessing it. The bookstore lied and said something that I did not do. They threw me through the hoops. This time for Winter 2024 semester, I paid over $400 for my books. I ordered them a month ago and set up to be shipped to my house. I STILL haven't received my books. The manager of the bookstore is lying again saying my card declined when I purchased them. That's a big fat lie!! I showed them my confirmation number to my order, and showed them that it was plenty of money on my card to make the order. Its this type of unprofessionalism and awful business that this bookstore has taken me through and they need to held accountable.Initial Complaint

On December 2/ 2022 my son *********************** went to see **************************** for a yearly physical. Blood was ordered through Quest Diagnostics. Quest diagnostics billed ************* care for the labs and it was denied do to a mistake on a diagnosis that the ************ wrote on the medical records. ( the diagnosis was sleeping disorder instead of the code for a regular yearly physical) I received a bill for $****** from Quest Diagnostics. The problem started since I called ************* care and asked why the bill was denied and they told me that the sleeping disorder was not cover. I told them that my son has not been diagnosed with a sleeping disorder and that must be an error. Then I called and spoke to ************ and told her what happened and she agreed with me that there was not a sleeping disorder and that they would fix the mistake and send United health the new medical report. I have been calling non stop since January 21/2023 to get someone to help me fix the mistake and all I keep getting is that they sent the medical records but when I called United since January 21/2023 they keep saying that they havent received the medical records they need. I dont know who to believe anymore the student health center and United health just keep telling me the same till now and in the mean time Quest diagnostics keeps sending me the bill for the ******. I have spoken to many people at the United health and many people at the student health center and no one seems to want to really help me get this issue resolved. This is about your eyeglass department yeah I'm coming to the department which issues the glasses what's on so does stupid me myself as a disabled individual with mental health issues as well as low vision and other mental health issues was not clearly explain the insurance that was on the glasses as well as the exchange policy as well as the policy for turning to when the frames under warranty expire as well as the things that pertain to the list now I was charged excessively excessively for the frames as well as delicious I know the same frames that you guys are selling for $200 139 140 but anyway my frame had broke and I got glue on my lenses and the lady told me when I came there that I should get a new eye exam when the eye exam I have it was just completed what August and she's telling me to get a new exam and come back with some money for some friends with the frames I was never clearly explained the warranty or the extended warranty or you know the policy and reference to the warranty with the lenses and what we can do and what we can do this is all about money and it's ridiculous and it's a heartbreaking because the majority of Us come there are poor the majority should come there have ******** or some type of insurance issue which on the majority of us anything and we've been taking advantage you want to talk to me just to address the issue that works back there who gave me a cheap for our friends for free hung the phone up here after I explained to her that policy was never explained to me in regards to the warranty and I was it was never ever taking into account did I had a disability learning impairment or issue with the understanding what was being said because by law the warranty is what we can drag his voice when it is not clearly explain to an individual who has mental health issues in no understanding and learning with being said as well as clear definition are the clauses and phrases that exist within the parameters of the warranty so I'm taking this one to the ******* ******************** as well as *************************** as well as Italian I see ******* to the governor and we're going to look into this and address this matterInitial Complaint

I went to orientation for FNP and very shortly after that found out I was pregnant. I had severe morning sickness during my first trimester and Covid for over 2 weeks (simultaneously) in January when classes began and literally could get out of bed and missed 2 weeks of work. My professor emailed me asking if I was okay, that I hadnt logged in and seeing if I needed to drop the program. I said yes, please withdraw me from the program because I didnt know when this was going to end and I cant put my best foot forward. She said she would withdraw me. I was so immobile and ill, I was not doing anything but lying in bed, let alone checking my email regularly. The professor only dropped me from one of my classes and now Im getting a bill for $3700 tuition + $1201 in health insurance (which I already have d/t a full time job as an RN). I assumed everything was taken care of that I was out of the program and did not login to check NSU emails. I got the $3700 bill in the mail 8/3 with no other notice. And now all of a sudden my student account has a $1201 fee for health insurance (which I have never been without because again, I have a full time job) I have been emailing and phoning multiple NSU employees, nursing department heads, the bursars office, the health insurance office and the collections department with no resolve or updates.Initial Complaint

Every 6 months i go for a physical and charge $69 this time I paid$89 Dollars this was July 17 2022 a week later i get a bill for additional 52 Dollars.This examination was the same as the four I had nothing different,in and out 15 minutes. Tried to call billing 3 time after being on hold for 45 minutes they hang up.
