I contacted Infinity windows and doors about a faulty window via phone and email on March 27, 2024. The window has never been able to be open as something is wrong with the frame. I came home after work one day to find a huge pressure crack in that window. Here is the email along with photos that were sent to infinity with no response as of today. From: ******************* <****************>Sent: Wednesday, March 27, 2024 7:27:10 PM To: ************************** <**************************>Subject: Pressure crack in window ************************* ******************************** ****************************************************************************** ************ We came home from work to find the window had cracked. There aren't any impact marks and such. Is this a pressure crack? What do we to do to get this fixed? I would like the frame and window to be replaced so that it is in working order.

I understand you want to reject, but I am providing proof that you misspelled the email ******* gave you. Our company is InfinitY, not InfinitI. Again, we cannot solve an issue we did not receive. Attached is proof that we emailed you yesterday to try to resolve your issue and received no answer, but you did respond to the BBB.

In August 2023 I agreed to have Infinity Windows install hurricane doors at our home. On January 3, 2023 they started the process of removing the old windows and installing the new. After the old windows were removed it became apparent they were installing the wrong doors. I immediately protested but had no choice to allow installation since the old windows had been removed. The windows they did install had many issues and over the next 3 months they made multiple trips to try to fix the problems. I still have outstanding issues that they have refused to fix. There sales person had promised we would not have to pay for project until we were 100% satisfied with the results. Since we have the wrong doors and have numerous issues and continuing issues with what they did install I have refused to sign the documents that would allow for them to be paid. I am willing to pay but feel once I pay I will have little hope of resolving this issue. Over the last 3 months I have made attempts to speak with a member of management regarding my problems. Until last week they have refused to speak with me. Ive attached emails Ive received from their ******************************* along with my responses. I would like to resolve this issue but have been unable.

Tell us why herethe customer was sold 2 sliding door and 1 French doors
That is what we installed, you can see on the city permit attached for proof.
One of the panels came with a defect from factory which they replace for our customer as part of the warranty.
As of now we haven't received any payment from the customer since 01/09/2023, when the ******************** were installed...

I contracted Infinity to install impact windows also they offered financing with The Pace program of *******. My complaint is about the installation and how my windows were measured incorrectly and I have gaps anywhere from 1 in to 1 1-2 inches beneath the bottom of each window. Which required the installers to fill the gaps with concrete on the outside and lots of caulk on the inside. To which I called emailed and sent pictures trying to understand if it was the right way of doing the installation. I assume if the windows were measured right they would have fit correctly in the openings. I understand that there still may have been gaps etc. as I understand it there should be no more than a 1/4 in gap around window. So with all that being said I have MOLD started on the caulk inside my house and it is were the big gaps were filled with the caulk. Again I called and emailed and sent pictures only to told my windows were up to code. Which I never saw any inspectors from the county or any representative from the company to do a final inspection. So with the **** program I was told not to pay until I was satisfied with the result of the job. But according to Infinity the job was completed. (Its in the contract that the finish work is free) and they wanted payment even though I have all these issues. So I told them I would hold payment until we were satisfied and completely finished. Thats when I had a deadline of 5 oclock on a Friday to pay them or they were going to place lien on my home and add interest to the loan amount and I would be responsible for and lawyer fees etc. They also told me my financing with **** was going to run out and I would have to pay them another way. Which is true I wasnt aware or didnt remember it was only good for 6 months. So I guess the bottom line is I paid them and my windows were measured wrong (Which I had verified by an independent person) and I have mold inside my house and nothing was or is going to be done

Greetings, My name is ******* ******, I am a 76 year old, handicapped woman, living alone on a fixed income in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My fraud complaint pertains to a signed contract to install impact windows and screens in order to protect my two bedroom apartment from potential hurricane damage. The contract, dated July 16th. 2021, was ultimately canceled within the three day cancellation. Period due to the contractors delayed, late August/early September, installation starting date and unknown completion date. The South Florida hurricane season, historically, would have been a serious threat prior to, or during the delayed time frame in which the contraction remained incomplete. My fraud complaint pertains to several critically important facts pertaining to an unconscionable personal ordeal attempting to recover my $3,427 deposit. Following my exercising the three day cancellation. Period, a phone request was immediately initiated in order to pickup the deposit check, was made available that I personally acquired at the company office on griffin road. Compounding all the emotional consequences of these events and the delays, the company, without any explanation shortchanged me $506.00!! The extent of the aggravation and frustration resulting from my making weekly phone calls, sometimes twice weekly, for more than two months requesting the deposit be returned is indescribable. Every imaginable excuse was conveyed, often arrogantly, to the point where the staff demanded that I stop calling. On or about September 9th, I visited the office on griffin road in order to confront the return check issue and/or threaten legal action, *** ******* the manager, was not in and I demanded that the female assistant call him. According to the staff member, assurances were conveyed by him that could acquire the deposit check the following week a 2PM on Thursday the 13. After waiting more that two months id decided not to trigger the legal threat when payment was finally insight. I arrived just before two o’clock and the staff member retrieved the check from a separate office in the back of the premises, presumably from *** *********** office. I immodestly noted that the amount was not correct and demanded an explanation. *** ******* came out to discuss the discrepancy amount and informed me that the $506.00 deduction pertained to expenses resulting from pulling the construction permits. I questioned why would you pull any permits when I had legitimately cancel the contract within the three day cancellation period. He stated that permit fillings were standard company policy when contracts were signed. I requested a copy of the permit and a copy of the check indicating that the permit cost $506.00; he refused and ignored my demands and walked away. Immediately informed him that he would be hearing from my attorney, he arrogantly told me “GO AHEAD- SPEND $500 AN HOUR”!!!
