I purchased a Lengha ( on 09/19/2020) from Monas Fashions the skirt and Dupatta (scarf) was given to me to take home and the top was to be altered . I returned to Monas a month after the alterations and the top was altered to a size 42 when it was clear that it was suppose to be altered to a size ************************************************************************************************************************************* order to get $$ for the alteration and that tif you purchase one or more garments she will say free alterations . So now , when I went back and the top was altered two sizes smaller , she told me they would fix it and that she would throw in another top for free . I went to Trinidad for a family wedding and shortly after the pandemic was at an all time high at this time of the year . Boarders were closing and hospitals filling up . I work as a RMA in memorial hospital and was also assisting but with also patients who have epidermal cancers as well . I had no time to go to pick up my top . During that time as well I got measure and my wedding dress was altered to the correct size 46 inches . I have pcos days I go up days I go down , but since the time of my first alteration I lost weight and this woman degraded me and said I am over weight and that I had time for a vacation to gain weight and come back and accuse her . We( my mother and I ) applied $300 as an advance on two other outfits and when my mom tried it on , the beads fell right off . The rope an beading on the outfit was completely dry rotted . I have outfits purchased from other stores same beading 7 years ago and its still in complete tack. I just want my money back this woman is a scammer and a liar . The receipt she gave us doesnt even add up to what we paid , I have mine but my mom cannot find hers from such a long time ago . She made alterations to receipt yesterday as you will see she wrote redo and she doesnt have any policies on her receipt for refunds .
