I called the owner of Steibs Sales East Coast, also known as Gobrecht Nuministics, about purchasing a mint gold coin. I have not received the coin and my check was deposited into Gobrecht Nuministics account over two weeks ago. The owner insisted on a check instead of wiring the money because of a wire fee. ?The owner has not reached out to me with an update on when the coin will be sent by registered Fed Ex mail. I called him the day after the money was taken (March 23rd), and he said hed ship the coin the following Monday, but it has not arrived at the post office (as of today April 7th, 2023). I tried calling again a week and a half after we last spoke, but he was not answering, and his voicemail was full. At this point, with no communication from the owner and no coin, I want a full refund of $2,150.Here are the details:-The coin I purchased is a Saint ******* gold coin uncirculated, minted between the years 1908-1933.-The check was made out to Gobrecht Nuministics for $2,150 on March 15th, 2023. It included the description in the memo, St. ******* gold mint.-With the check, I included a letter with my address, phone number, and the details of the coin Im purchasing. I also included a sentence asking him to call me when it ships, as he suggested.-The check was mailed on March 15th and deposited into the Gobrecht Nuministics account on March 22nd. -The owner did not reach out to me to say he had mailed the coin, as discussed, so I called him on Thursday, March 23rd. He said he would ship the coin on Monday.-I reached out to the owner again on April 4th since I had not heard from him and the coin had not been delivered. He did not answer and his voicemail was full.-The coin has still not arrived as of today, April 7th.
