For the month of May I have been reaching out to my rental office and expressing my concern of a leak in my bedroom over my bed. I have requested for the issue to be resolved a couple of times because im getting uncomfortable sleeping on my couch and nervous that my ceiling is going to eventually cave in from all the bubbles that are constantly forming from the water that is settling in the ceiling. I live on the 6th floor and always having to take stairs all the way up because this brand new elevator they've installed is constantly broken days and weeks at a time.I currently pay $1400 a month for rent, I received a notice of my rent going up to $1800. I am aware that rent prices and mortgage prices are through the roof right now, however I am willing to Pay this amount of rent if i did not reside here at Elizabeth Gardens Circle One Condominium. The amount of damages and defects to this complex its self let alone my apartment, it is not worth me paying that amount of rent they are requesting effective august 1. I've pleaded and cried out for a new refrigerator on numerous occasions prior to these current issues and it took for them to get me two different used ones on two separate occasion both which took quite a while to receive a decent one at last. Moreover the purpose of this complaint is that the quality and condition that this complex is in and my apartment its not worth the sacrifice of an additional $400 rent increase. Not until i can feel at home at least. The condition of this condominium is very uncomfortable and even the safety in this complex. so i am not happy with the increase in rent effective august 1, im also not happy with the condition of the ceiling in my bedroom. I have more photos and videos that i was unable to upload that i would be more than happy to share with BBB to fully understand and see my concerns.
