I reached out to Landfall Data in October of 2021 in hopes of buying effective aged data for a marketing campaign. I agreed to a test order of 1000 USD to confirm the validity of their product. The first batch of data, all of which included they claimed included proof of opt-in, had over 65% bad or otherwise invalid email addresses. While they did fix this and provide a new batch of data from the same time frame they did pass ***** verification, the open rate on roughly 15,000 emails was ~70. When I reached out about why verified email addresses were not even opening our marketing emails, they ghosted us. Either this is the worst batch of email marketing data ever bought or they got caught delivering invalid email addresses and simply replaced them with valid ones but obviously not from individuals who actually opted in to a marketing campaign. It's clear they can't deliver valid email addresses and the bad ones we've already marketed to has damaged our email delivery reputation. I see no solution other than a refund of our money.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/18) */ To whom it may concern, My name is ***** *****, and I am the CEO of Landfall Data. We received a complaint from a client by the name of **** ********. Here at Landfall Data, our policy goes that we will replace any file with an agent level dialer report. If the client is still unhappy, we will then go and refund his/her money. In this case - we were in the process of replacing ****'s file for him, and during that process he went ahead and filed his report to you all. We were never under the impression there was an issue that he was that unhappy. We are here to work with all of our clients, and want nothing more than to see them succeed and be happy. In this case, we didn't have the opportunity to give him a replacement file - and refunded him his money back. Our relationship with the Better Business Bureau means a lot to us, and if there is anything we can do to have this complaint removed from our page we will do so. I look forward to hearing from you all, and to see the next steps in this process.
