Really should be illegal that the company is allowed to send papers like they missed a delivery and to call the company. My mother and father who are elderly received in mail one for each and were worried they missed the delivery truck or something bad had happened . Not sure how it's possible for the company to deliver that lie and not show the name of the company either. You need to remove anyone from the address from the picture below as we refuse anyone lying to get customers.

I have been getting completely unsolicited calls and spam mailers from this company for many years, and it has got to stop. I am on the do not call registry and have never given my permission to be on any type of mailing or call list of this company or any other company like it. I want my information removed from this companys database. The predatory and deceptive marketing practices that Liberty Settlement Funding and other similar companies engage in are quite frankly disgusting. If they were actually helping people like their canned response claims, they wouldnt need to trick people into calling them by designing the mailers look like an IRS notices or other official, legitimate documents.

Liberty Settlement Funding has been sending me fraudulent, misleading mail for six years. They send me mailers that look like delivery slips or like late bills, saying "URGENT: MISSED DELIVERY" or "SECOND ATTEMPT TO CONTACT: PLEASE CALL." But they're a company that buys settlements from victims of personal injury for cash. Their mailers never include their company name or any identifying information besides their address--you'd never know who it's coming from if you didn't research. Their marketing is misleading and relentless; I receive dozens of these postcards and letters from them a year. Their reviews on ****** are full of people complaining about the same issue. This is predatory and needs to stop.

Liberty Settlement Funding has continued to contact me despite multiple requests to take me off their list. I get 2-4 pieces of mail from them a week disguised as USPS missed delivery slips, government relief checks and other various official documents. The first person to contact me would call and try to do small talk with me before getting to the point, and when I'd tell him I wasn't interested he'd argue with me and insult me. When I hung up he called me back then when I blocked the number he called back again to insult me more, then resorted to texting me from his personal cell phone. This happened multiple times over the course of two years. The attached image shows examples of mail I've gotten from them.

I've never approached this company for business. Get phone calls 1-2x a month about a structured settlement I do not have. I get at least 3-4 pieces of mail every single week from this company. Cleverly disguised as envelopes for priority mail or governmental (time-sensitive messages) The only give-away is the "or current resident" address. I've asked multiple times to be removed from both phone and mailings as I'm getting the letters almost daily.

Accordingly, Liberty appreciates this opportunity to respond to Mr. **** and apologizes for any inconvenience he may have suffered. We value our customers, our potential customers and their privacy. Pursuant to his request, and prior to his filing this complaint, we removed Mr. ****'s contact information from our customer database and implemented measures to ensure he is not contacted further. Liberty confirms our commitment that he will receive any unsolicited communications from Liberty. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not believe "prior to filing this complaint" was ever done. I received two pieces of mail and a phone call today from your company. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/11/02) */ Liberty understands the consumer's frustration but can only reassure him that we have marked our system so that there is no further contact. Unfortunately, there may be some mail that still arrives as the mail house may still have pieces that were set up prior to requests. With that said, Liberty does not see that any phone calls that have been made to the consumer in over a month. If the consumer wishes to contact our marketing or legal department to let us know what number he is receiving phone calls on, we will be sure to disable that number within our system as well.

I have been requesting them to stop calling me and mailing me anything. They have continued to tell me that I am on the do not call or mail list but every few days they call me and mail me offers to sell my settlement funding. Then when I called to tell them to stop they start getting aggressive and argumentative on the phone and tell me that I do not know what I am doing and that Genworth Financial is going out of business and I will lose all of my money. No matter what I do they continue to mail me letters pretending to offer me free items for simply calling them and I do not call them. Then they call me from several different numbers, most of the time hanging up when I answer, then I see I have a missed call and return it and they begin to argue with me again and say I called them and they haven't called me or mailed me anything but I have the proof from my phone record and letters they've mailed me in my possession.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I just received another one today in my mailbox. This has not ended and it has been going on for a very long time. I do not believe they will stop either. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/11/02) */ Liberty understands the consumer's frustration at having received further mail from Liberty, but this is due to mail pieces that were submitted to the mail house prior to notification from the consumer. There may be further mail pieces in the remaining campaign, but Liberty has marked our system so that the consumer is not placed into any further campaigns and not contacted. Liberty does not wish to contact the consumer or spend any further resources mailing to a consumer who does not wish to do business with Liberty. Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2021/11/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have stated that I do not wish to receive anything from them regarding this but it has continued for a very long time, more than a few months following my request, hence my complaint to the BBB. I will provide the next one that arrives to this claim because I am doubtful this will stop. This company calls me from different phone numbers and most of the time they hang up for me to return my missed calls due to the fact that I own more than one business and I am constantly busy and do not have time to answer immediately (although their primary tactic is to call and immediately hang up for a call back in order for them to state that I called them and they did not call me). I can prove this by my call history. That is why the incoming calls from different numbers continue every week. They even state that I must not know what is going on in the Financial World at the moment. I am well aware of what is happening and have a major in Finance, along with taking many Economics and Accounting classes. I can show that I have these credentials through the College I attended. They state I do not know what I am talking about but I disagree because I know their primary goal and the tactics they are attempting to use. They've mentioned inflation, which I am well aware of, but they say they know more than I do. I wish to be left alone and I will receive more mail and phone calls from them as I have been for approximately 1 year since I've requested them to stop. I receive them more than once a week and at least one phone call. If this continues I will be forced to report this to the proper authorities and let them take their own legal actions. Don't call me and threaten me on the phone again or tell me I am not aware of what is happening as far as inflation rates and the business that has my funding as a Junk Bond. They are not rated as a Junk Bond and that may fall under certain legal ramifications you obviously don't understand. Look it up and the ramifications you may face making a false statement about a company prior to your sales content you use to finalize such contracts.
