Paid over $7,231 for JZ to install vinyl flooring in our home in 2020, didnt last one year without problems. ***** the owner said it was under warranty and they would replace the flooring in June 2021. Same problem occurred months after initial replacement. We contacted him several times over the last year trying to get the floors fixed. he sent us to a $450 (paid out of our pocket) outside inspection to confirm the problem. The inspection showed there was no moisture barrier installed under the flooring which was causing the ground moisture to come up and cause damage to the floors. Also showed floors were caulked to wall in bathroom which is an improper way to do it causing those floors to buckle bc they had no room to move(inspectors words). He agreed to fix it after the inspection report was sent to him. He has yet to do the repairs. He has no call, no showed three appointments to install the moisture barrier and fix the damaged flooring with the most recent no show appointment on October 17th. He gives excuse after excuse why he hasnt been able to come including sending me pictures of his dog being put down which I find completely manipulative and unprofessional. We dont even trust him to do the work properly at this point so we want a refund to get another company to come do the repairs and install new flooring. He has gone unresponsive and will no longer take our calls or texts yet he is still out doing other peoples floors while we are left in the dust, our $7,231 and the floors in our home are sharp, hazardous for our children and ourselves, and becoming more damaged weekly.
