Sean Gestrich pleaded guilty to Eng/Bus/Contract W/O License and was sentenced to 12 month probation and ordered to pay $19,200.00 in restitution.

As of December 6, 2021:

Sean T Gestrich, doing business as GTS Contracting has been charged in Broward County by The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation with Eng/Bus/Contract W/O License and Unlicensed Contractor, both Misdemeanors. The charges stem from GTS Contracting allegedly contracting with a homeowner to perform remodeling work requiring licensing without the necessary licenses.

UPDATE As of October 18, 2023

Sean Thomas Gestrich pled no contest to Petit Theft and was sentenced to 12 months probation which ends after six months with no further violations and ordered to pay $2,700.00 in restitution.

As of 05/11/2022:

Sean Thomas Gestrich has been charged by the Broward County Sheriff's Office with Grand Theft in the Third Degree, a Felony in connection with GTS Contracting allegedly taking a deposit for a remodeling job and then failing to perform the work.

On December 13, 2022, BBB completed an investigation into this business.

During the research into GTS Contracting, BBB was unable to locate any licensing for the business. BBB requested that the business provide a copy of any licensing held.  In addition, Broward County court records showed Sean Thomas Gestrich charged with Unlicensed Contracting and Grand Theft in connection with GTS Contracting LLC.

On December 13, 2022, BBB sent correspondence to GTS Contracting requesting additional information about the company, including proof of required licenses.  We are awaiting their response.

BBB will continue to monitor and update the company's report as needed.

BBB recommends and reminds consumers to do background research on BBB.org before hiring a Contractor and signing a contract.
