I was very upset by the aggressive recruitment strategies. They got not only my personal phone number but also the personal phone numbers of 2 of my family members in attempt to recruit me for locums work.

"Autumn" texted me on my private unlisted cell phone today about OBG locums opportunities. I've never done business with, or requested information from, this company and told her that her solicitation was intrusive, presumptive, and possibly illegal. She responded that my private cell phone number was publicly available despite it being on the federal Do Not Call list so I doubt that she found it via any legitimate means. I've read the reviews from other physicians so I'm not surprised by such behavior by employees of this company.Review from Phillip C

This is a follow up to a complaint against this company I made in 2021. At that time, I was notified by several family members that they were contacted by Hayes to pass job listings onto me after I asked Hayes to STOP contacting me. This was extremely troubling as I NEVER PROVIDED family contact information to Hayes. They contacted both my parents and siblings. Clearly they have a way of tapping in your phone contacts. They issued an apology online after I made my complaint and promised neither I or my family would be contacted again. Yet about 9 months later, my sibling informed me that "******" from Hayes sent a message to get to me. Hayes Locums has no integrity. Their repugnant practices prove they don't follow through on promises and care only about making money off the backs of physicians. The fact that Hayes Locums will contact your family to try to get to physicians is abhorrent. Again, I reiterate, that I NEVER gave my family's contact information to Hayes Locums. I encourage any physician to consider this and would steer clear of this company. If you have children with cell phones, Hayes will probably find a way to get their phone numbers and send them messages. If you value you and your family's privacy, avoid working with Hayes. There are SO many other reputable companies to choose from. My guess is Hayes will issue another hollow apology as they did when I lodged a BBB complaint the first time but again contact my family members again in the coming months. Rest assured, when they do, I will continue to share my experience publicly for the sake of my fellow physicians.
