I checked in to the hotel on 4/24, and I went to extend my stay on 4/27. As the previous front desk clerk had bent my passport when taking my ID, I requested that we check in that night so that I would just have to switch keys in the morning. They obliged and made a copy. Apparently, they did not do it because the front desk clerk asked yet again in the morning. I refused and he insisted that I needed to check in yet again. I gave him my copy of my ID and he gave me my keys. He said he was going to complain to his manager about me being rude. I said let me talk to her and he refused. He did have her call me back when she came in, and she refused to apologize for the cleaning crew banging on my door twice this morning before checkout. She also claimed that he was justified in his behavior and that he had done nothing wrong by making me check in twice. I was getting very upset by this point and telling her that she was getting a bad review and I was raising my voice. There were no threats of violence or property damage, and I was in my room. She told me that she was going to call the police. At this point, I was so mad that I had no problem leaving. However, I am complaining to you because she said she was well within her rights to keep the money, even though checkin isn't until 4. So she is trying to keep $300 of my money.Long story short, she told me to leave as soon as I said she was getting a bad review and she was being dodgy about my refund. The property is not damaged. I want a full refund and please monitor this business for simillar complaints.
