  The surgery for my 2nd hip replacement was due. My surgeon told me that Cypress Creek Outpatient is available for Dec 11, 2023 and he often does surgery there since its in the same building where he works. I was confirmed that all is the same as it was 2years ago with my first hip repl. - which was done at **************. Pre and Post surgery Docs were done and I agreed. (now I know, that ****************** Assistance which covers 90% of my Memorial bills is not paying anything for this location - I should have been told this important detail).After surgery around 1pm of Dec ************************************ home. I was still under drogues and not conscious and could hardly talk due to throat pain. An anesthesiologist noticed that my right foot dropped. He decided to not let me go home after he asked my neighbor about my living situation, this one said that I live alone and he would just drive me home. I confirmed I live alone but have help and have sleepover if necessary. (Why did the anesthesiologist discuss this with my neighbor? My neighbor is not my guardian and I was never declared as legally incompetent.) My protest was not noticed. They called 911 right away and I was sent by fire rescue to ER ****************** There they didn't know what to do with me since all ********************* were fine. I was just tired with a lazy foot. The main nurse tried for 7hrs to reach my surgeon. She got him on the phone at 10pm to ask why I was in ER. My surgeon was surprised that I was there - he was never informed about this fact. (He did confirm this to me). Since my surgeon is not privileged for Imperial he could not discharge me. After 1am I was sent by Ambulance to ************** ER. Again they were asking why I was there. I was held again, not able to leave. At around 4am they hospitalized me and put me to a Patients room. At 11am I was finally released from this traumatic experience. This waste of expenses should be covered by Cypress Creek Outpatient Center.
