I can NOT recommend Liberty Legal Funding. I am a current client in the fact that they have bought into my mal practice claim but they didnt do so because they wanted to really help me. Their actions while handling my claim have shown they were only looking for a quick payout of their over inflated interest charges. i cant blame my willingness to get involved in these types of loan products on them, it was the desperation of my situation being thrust into a legal mal practice because of a complex traumatic brain injury caused by a hospital dropping me on my head during an emergency surgery. I was not prepared for lack of help getting through the process. I trusted this company and they have left me hanging in the wind when i ask for an additional funding amount to get through the winter months. My case is set to potentially settle and we finally have trial date set within 10 months (ive waited nearly three years already). This company denied any further funding OF ANY AMOUNT citing the amount of money invested in my case exceeds their comfort zone. The reality is that their underwriter knows that they will make tidy sum off the inflated interest and they dont really care wether or not im financially ok until the trial date and the real kicker here, if they force me into a desperate situation financially i might settle giving them their inflated return, MUCH MORE QUICKLY! The staff that i have dealt with have been RUDE and when i responded in kind, they hang up on you. I escalated my concern with the a supervisor and he was kind but ultimately unable to make me feel comfortable with them.Honestly none of these companies care about the people they claim to be helping but i can tell you that i wished i had gone with someone else before accepting LIBERTY LEGAL FUNDING. Do yourself a favor, find anther company if you cant wait for your settlement, They will be professional until you sign on the dotted line and then your trapped.

****************, while we appreciate your frustration, Liberty has underwriting standards for each funding request, both for the initial funding request and subsequent requests. We have already provided in excess of $50,000 in funding to you, including paying of the funding company from which you had obtained prior funding. At this time, we are not in a position to approve additional funding on your case. This is not a comment on the strength of your case or your attorney, but it is simply our own decision given the dollar amount already funded. Again, while we understand your frustration that we could not help you with additional funding at this time, there is no requirement that we agree to provide you funding each time you ask for it, as we have the discretion to decline to provide additional funding.

That being said, if you still desire to obtain funding, we can potentially find a different funding company that might be willing buy out our prior funding and provide additional funding to you. We are happy to try to facilitate that for you. To be clear, there is no guarantee that another funding company will agree to do so, but we can help you with that option if you like.
