    I rent an apartment for/with my 75 yo Mom in ************, ** since 11/2020. There was a flood from the apartment above 1/2022. It required cabinets to be pulled in the kitchen and bathroom to access things in the wall and took over a month to complete with no access to the kitchen or that bathroom. I visited that ****** and the apartment had a dank smell, the carpet felt wet and I reported it. They said it was humid down south, she had too many clothes in the closets and loaned my Mom a dehumidifier and supplied damp rid for a few months. They told us to leave the closet doors open and keep the thermostat below 73. I hesitated to sign the lease for 2022 but was assured things would improve when it cooled. The winter came and my Mom began to notice her things were getting molded in the closets. We reported it and they were to investigate and fix the problem. In June I was informed by a family member that the mold was bad. I asked to be let out of the lease but was told we would have to pay a penalty to break it. I started looking for other apartments but was concerned about moving my Mom to an unfamiliar setting. I hired my own mold inspector and the report showed 4 types of mold with very high amounts of 2 associated with water damaged buildings. They performed an internal inspection a few days later and said everything was fine, unaware of my independent inspection. I provided them with the report and pictures. This was 9/2023 and it still took over 2 1/2 months for them to move us even after acknowledging their concerns about the mold and assigning is a new unit a few days after the report. They have run us around, raised our rent above the original renewal rate for an apartment with the exact same layout and charged an admin fee and more security deposit even though this was due to their neglect. They ignore my emails and questions and have not reimbursed our expenses or offered any compensation for our inconvenience or damaged items. Its ***** and Goliath.

    First and foremost, the staff here is exceptional. They are friendly, helpful, and incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns I've had. The leasing process was a breeze, thanks to their efficiency and professionalism. They truly make you feel like a valued member of the community from day one.The apartments themselves are beautifully designed and well-maintained. I was impressed by the attention to detail in every aspect of my unit, from the modern appliances to the spacious closets. The floor plans are thoughtfully laid out, and I have plenty of room to make this space my own.
