It was time for a more efficient AC unit Sunset sold Us the unit pulled the permit about 6 months to a year later it was new roof time, The ac refridgerant lines were right up next to the roof line the nails went right into it . Sunset was notified but took no responsibility and gave Us a estimate for thousands of dollars . Our roofing contractor was notified **** ***** and immediately sent there AC guy out and repaired our incorrectly installed ac line . Today in these 100 degree days our poor ac does not stand a chance trying to keep the home at the right temp with the lines so close to the roof

This is false. This incident happened in 2021. The roofer caused the problem. The roofer hit the lines with a nail. We have pictures of it. We suggested he call the roofer and have them address the issue or we would have to charge him for the repair (and it WAS NOT thousands of dollars). It has been 3 years since the issue happened and this review is irrelevant. The customer contacted the roofer (as we suggesetd) and the matter was resolved.
With regards to the copper lines being "too close to the roof", that has nothing to do with the function of the system. Sunset Air did not install the copper lines. If the company that repaired the leak (the roofers caused) did not properly reinstall the insulation around the cooper lines, then they need to repair that well.

Original call was the heater was not working and then the air conditioning stopped working also Paid for the diagnostic service was told the circuit board was bad from technician #1 Paid for technician #2 replaced circuit board still nothing working then he found a faulty fuse replaced it air conditioner working and was leaving when I checked the heat was not working called the technician back in then he said there was a bad fuse link but didnt have the part would have to order it Estimate for third visit $340 Technician #3 and helper showed up with the wrong part Now I was done giving them more money and chances to fix it I found the correct part online for $10 it took less than ten minutes to install and still no heat approximately 45 days between first technician visit and last technician visitReview from Jessica G

I worked with ************************* to get all 40 AC units and all ********************************* early December. **** was always easy to reach by telephone, always answered all of my questions, and was *******************. We started installations in early January 2023 and were complete in early February. We were very pleased with all of the work and **** was a great representative and left an outstanding impression of the professionalism and quality of Sunset-Air. We signed a contract for a new air-conditioning and now being told they won't do it. Because of the financing told me our financing was declined when it wasn't and now saying they won't except it. This is not what occurred. You were told we do not do business with the financing institution you chose to do business with. You also were not told you were turned down for financing. I listened to the recording myself. Your recollection of the conversation is not accurate. This will be our one and only reply to complaint.Review from Joe P
