Good evening, I need assistance on an issue that I am having with the Batteries Plus company located in ***************. In the latest voicemail they sent me, I was being called a scammer, despite having the proper receipts and proof, and was threatened to have legal action taken against me if I do not send them the money back. I was charged extra after I returned three cores and wasn&#**;t issued a refund afterwards. Eventually, they did send me a refund check but it was not the correct amount so I opened a dispute for that missing amount through my bank and they gave me the refund. However, the Batteries Plus company is asking for the money to be returned. Please help me with this problem.Sent from *********************************** *************************

On Sept 20, 2023, I took my brand new, (with tags and protective face cover still on the dial,) ladies ***** watch into Batteries Plus to get a new battery. The watch had been stored for over a year and the battery was dead. I was told $24.95 for a new battery and gave the watch to the young man with dark hair and glasses. I waited between ***** minutes before he returned from the back and gave me my watch with the cover off. He said " We can not get the cover back on the watch. We have tried all our different sized equipment. I suggest that you take it just down the street to Dunkin Diamonds and ask them to put the cover back on. I am not going to charge you for the new battery being we kept you waiting so long." So I took my watch and cover and went to Dunkin Diamond. The repair person there looked at the watch and told me that he could not put the cover on as the gasket had been damaged and I would have to leave it for them to get a gasket for it. I was quoted $50 + tax to repair the watch. I left the watch and drove home and called Batteries Plus as soon as I got home and asked for the manager. I was quite upset at this time. The person I spoke with said he was the manager and his name was ******. I told him what had happened and said that I was going to file a complaint with BBB. ****** said " Whoa, you are going to file a complaint and not even give me a chance to make things right " I apologized and he said to bring him the paid repair bill and he would reimburse me for the repair. I picked the watch up on Sept 22, 2023 and went to see ****** and gave him the paid receipt, expecting him to reimburse me as he said he was going to do. At that time, ****** stated that he needed "to give the bill to my boss and see what he wants to do" I did not hear back from him so I called ****** on Friday Sept. 29, 2023 in the afternoon. At that time he informed me that they were NOT going to cover the repair bill for my watch.

Took iPad to get a new battery. Called in 3 days and said it was ready. It would not accept a charge. It was stuck at 24%. Called and they said being it back. Stated it's probably a bad battery. Or the cable port may not be aligned correctly. I was concerned that they didn't bother to test the battery. Took it back. They called and stated it's ready and charged to 100%. Went back to store to pick up and it was 100%. But, the iPad was now locked and would not open. I asked employee about it and he merely stated "go to iTunes! We didn't do nothing wrong! And, continued talking on a two way radio. They never informed me that their installation would cause the iPad to lose all info
