This is ******* ******, wife of ****** ******. Ed is 83 years old and was lied to and taken advantage of by Jason *****, SWFL Sales, LLC. on 3/25/2022. Jason committed fraud. Ed purchased a Hurricane 2400 Boat from Jason for $27500. In writing, Jason said the boat was a 2013, and it was a one owner. Jason said it was his private boat and he has 5 children, so he needs a larger boat. The boat was sold to Ed as a good working boat. After we wired the money, Jason delivered the boat to us in Naples for $100. The boat is junk. The boat is a 2012, not a 2013. He is not the first owner. He fixes up junk boats and trailers and sells them. This boat appears to have been under water or in a hurricane. The lights and gauges to not work. The trim on the motor doesn't work. The boat body has bondo in it and repainted. The numbers are off of the boat. He changed the stickers on Yamaha motor to make it appear like it was a 2013. Serial number is 2012. The motor is full of salt and no gasket. This could not have been his personal boat. Again my husband is 83. My husband was taken advantage of and Jason did not represent the boat in an honest manner. We asked to return the boat. He has our money fora 2013 boat, but he deliver a 2012 boat. On a text message to another man, he said he would buy the boat back for $18000. By he won't give us any money back. He admitted the boat was only worth $18000. I have a copy of that text.
