Myself and several other friends were the victims of consumer fraud. This happened when *********************** and his company Scubavice Diving Center LLC , located in ***************, took our money for a dive trip, at all times stated the money had been deposited with the operator, and then kept our money without having provided the funds to the operator and refusing to provide a refund. I am a senior citizen. The person and store committing this fraud is still in business and advertising trips to take peoples money. I paid a total of $2661.44 to Scubavice Diving Center LLC for a dive trip to Little ****** Reef resort that was rescheduled for April 2023. When **************** did not return my phone calls regarding the trip, I contacted the operator, Little ****** Reef resort. The operator stated no money had ever been received and referred me to the travel agent ********************************************* ************. When I spoke to ******, she said ************** was not returning her calls, had not paid the requisite costs, and that he was also in default on another trip he was promoting/advertising where *************** was acting as travel agent. The owner of Scubavice Dive Center (***********************) (cell phone ************; office number ************) falsely repeatedly represented that the trip was paid for. He did not forward my money to the operator or travel agent. He did not send my money to the appropriate entities. I made phone calls and had a written request for refund sent to Scubavice. *************************** has not returned my calls or responded to my requests to return the $2661.44. I am 69 years old this is a scam company preying on the elderly.Business response

We are sending ***** a check for the full amount paid for the referred to dive trip. We and our community were hit by Hurricane ***, so *****'s request could not have come at a worse time; however, we are refunding him and apologize for the inconvenience it has caused him.
