On 10/18/22 I had a person from AAAction Electric come and check my electric so I could have FPL hook me up. They charged $125 for his services, no problem Then I was charged $200 for a notorized outline of his visual inspection that was supposed to be what I needed to get my ********************. That was not true and I did not need this. Unfortunately I was ripped off during this very stressful time. I would like to request they reimburse me the $200 for a paper I didn't even need. Please everyone be aware of the folks who prey on the ones who are in very stressful times and trying to do what is right. Shame on AAAction Electric. I have called 3 times to try and find out what exactly the $200 covered, always sent to message and have had no return calls.Business response

We have been in business since 2009 and have had absolutely no reports to the BBB which should say something about out character as far as being a reputable contractor.
In this case, at the time FPL, and LCEC were requiring signed, dated, notarized inspection letters before they would re-energize these customers. We went back and forth between the power company and the different municipalities over what they wanted from us. We did at least 200 letters for residents in *** and ******* county to get the customers power turned back on and this is the only problem we had was with this address and customer.
We were called out to the property and we explained to the customer what we were going to do and the associated fees before we came out and they agreed. I believe the power company turned them back on without the letter and now they want a refund? ***************** has not been consistent with who does and who does not get their power turned on. They are telling us that they are requiring the letter but then we hear stories of customers getting turned on without the letter. We never lied to anyone but I am not giving a refund when I am following FPL and ********************* / ******* protocol!
The *************** has their own FPL/LCEC letter that they gave to us to sign after we do inspections out there.
Please look at our reviews on ****** and Home Advisor, we have not taken advantage of anyone nor would we! We did everything that the power companies and municipalities have asked us to do.
