    Bernie is Nasty disrespectful no where near honest. Please check Bernie's reviews & I'm sure you want give you money away. Bernie told me he charge me $85 to fix a dvd/vcr recorder plus the parts if needed.Two days later he said he couldn't fix it. He wanted to keep it but I went back to get the recorder and pay him for checking it out. $85 was to fix it not to check a small recorder. I told Bernie that I would report him to the BBB & he got mad & came out side his little place to take pictures of the car I was driving. Saying I have not heard the last of him. But for his sake & mind it's best I never see that crooked guy again.

    Mr. ********, is the name you gave me when you came in, most people don't say titles, most the time its first names, As you know we spoke on the phone before you came in and again when you came in we discussed the repair of your VCR/DVR. YOU decided to leave it and pay for the estimate/labor up front. YOU signed two agreements stating you would. You wrote down on the claim check in two places you paid even though I gave you a receipt. YOU AGREED TO THE TERMS AND SERIVCES, twice. I called you and told you what I found in two days. It was not the "BELTS" as you stated was the problem. You have a logic problem on the board that when switched to VCR no video or sound from the VCR was seen or heard. There are no parts available but I found the same DVR/VCR on Amazon. I explained this to you on the phone and I told you that if the board was available it would probably be around the same price as the DVR/VCR that I found for you on Amazon. I sent you a link in email after we hung up.

    Now to address your statement: First, I didn't want your VCR, I asked you if you wanted me to put it back together or could I put it in a box since its not working. You wanted it put back together so I did, more work for me but we do what the customer wants. You came in with a younger lady and I asked what you were picking up. You wouldn't tell me and said there's the claim check. While I was locating your DVR/VCR I asked if you had received my email with the replacement VCR I told you about and you said no. I asked if you checked junk mail and you said no, but you bought another one. When I brought you the VCR you asked what I did to it and I told you we couldn't repair the board because there was no parts available that is why I sent you the link for the $72 DVR/VCR replacement and that is what I told you on the phone. Then you started in on me, stating I was "dishonest" and "no wonder why people write things about my business" and said you would do the same. I listened for a minute, tried to communicate with you but you kept it up. I told you I've been here since 1995 and couldn't run my business like that. True I've had a few customers like you over the years and I am not taking it any longer. None of the complaints about us are justified. I took pictures of you because you threatened me and from the very minute you came in you had an attitude and I knew you were going to be a problem. That is why I discussed your repair with you extensively before you paid. People can hide insults and injury behind these sites but that doesn't mean you aren't liable for what you say. YOU ARE A LIAR AND DISHONEST! You are trying to defame and ruin a business which makes you LIABLE. I finally took pictures of you and your car's license tag so I my attorney won't have any trouble doing a background investigation and finding you. I advise you to remove your comment before I refer this to a money hungry lawyer.

    I'll sum this up. If you don't want to a pay a man for a job you ask him to do, don't bring it in. I don't work for free. I have paying customers that need work done and aren't complaining about it and dealing with you has wasted so much of my time. I have a family and bills to pay. Nothing is cheap and nothing is free. Time = Money.

    I am sorry your VCR/DVR wasn't repairable but you have no reason to post this. You paid and agreed up front. You threatened to harm and defamed my business and I will not stand for that, not in person or hiding behind Section 230 on a website. It's really too bad business don't have a website to warn other business about abusive and dishonest customers such as you Mr. ********.

    This man Bernie is a terrible lier and I am not the only customer that went to this man for service. This man never gave me a recipe he gave me a small pick up card, but no recipe. If anyone check the local reviews in Fort Myers, FL, they will see how he robbed other customers. I didn't need Bernie's help for Amazon or Ebay I took my dvd recorder to him and agreed to pay him up front to fix the dvd recorder. He was to charge me $85 to fix it plus parts. Who in their right mind would pay someone $85 to just look at something. As I said I didn't want anything for nothing. Paying him a reasonable price to check it out is understandable. Bernie is a lier and a robber with a nasty nasty attitude and I have a witness. Also many people from the reviews are saying the same. I errored by not checking the reviews before going to that place. I urge customer to don't go to Metro Electronic. I can't make a business bad that is already bad that's why he's a robber. Please don't pay this man a large sum of money upfront if you do you will no doubt regret it. For $85 he never showed that he even took the dvd apart. His word isn't worth a penny. I should have known he would send BBB that lying response he's open from 11am to 12pm one hour a day that should have said something to me and I'm upset with myself for trusting that man, but people like this guy Burnie lose more than they gain. I advise people to Please check the reviews about this man. God knows people like this man reap what you sow. Good luck burnie.

    Burnie is a lier and nasty disrespectful man. He never gave me a recipe, he gave me a small orange pickup card for Repair. I never needed this man's help with Amazon or Ebay to buy anything. This man is a robber and a great lier. Of course he would send BBB that lying response. $85 was to fix my dvd recorder plus parts not just to say he looked at it. If anyone ask themselves who would pay someone $85 to just check a dvd recorder. This man is a nasty crook and I'm not the only customer in the Fort Myers FL area that's saying the same. My problem is I didn't check the reviews before I took my dvd to metro Electronic and repair. I urge people to please check Bernie's reviews out and I sure you want pay this man a large fee $85 upfront for work he never looked at. I can't make a business bad that is already bad. I have witness for my accusation and these local reviews speak for itself. He has a nasty nasty attitude and I see he's a grand lier. God bless Burnie people like this guy lose more than they gain.     I submitted another report 6/3/22 concerning this metro electronic & repair. I stated how I was robbed for $85 but after checking my credit card company I see Bernie the said owner took $88.40 to check a small dvd. I don't believe anyone in an honest business would stoop so low. Yes I did Threaten Bernie by saying I would report him to the BBB and no other way. He went crazy for some reason when I mentioned the BBB. Came out of his shop taking pictures of the car and tag. I told him that people like him in said business should be reported to save innocent customers. I feel that people in business like burnie are really crooks & thieves with a really nasty attitude. From now on I will check the reviews.

    He agreed on the phone before he came in and again when he paid. He is trying to ruin businesses if he can't blackmail them. A used exact replacement DVR/VCR was as cheap as the logic board if it was available. If you read all his "reviews". He is a self-appointed righteous ***** that reneges after agreeing, signing and paying up front for what he agreed. I asked him if he wanted it put back together on the phone before he picked it up and he said yes. Now he says I didn't even take it apart. He is a liar and a cheat and keeps making things up. That is exactly why I went out and took his picture and his license tag when he started his **** and why I video record my office. I have contacted a lawyer and I will deal with this man myself. We have copied his "hit" list and are contacting the other "Nasty and terrible" companies he has reviewed about so they can sue him for libel and defamation as well. This guy has serious mental problems to carry on about this. If businesses knew in advance about him they would never let him in the building. I accept drop offs and pickups between 11-12 "without appointment". I work all day, I run service calls and I want to work uninterrupted if possible.

    I am an upstanding member of society. I have been in business since 1995 and I have served and repaired equipment for thousands of customers and wouldn't be here if I wasn't and I have plenty of reviews that praise me for my work. I am here for my community, for what they need and ask of me. I can't please everyone everytime but I also don't work for free and everyone knows and accepts that when they pay for service up front. He knew this as well and he got a receipt. Allowing this man to carry on like this on this platform isn't helpful to businesses or customers.

    Mr. ********, you have some serious mental issues. The problem is your affecting my business and livelihood. Get your facts straight! You were charged by me $85 plus the charges your credit card company charges my company. I did that instead of raising rates or doing away with credit cards all together as they take about 8 - 10% from my business. You were told the charges for your card will be charged to you and it is posted in two places on the counter, YOU signed the credit card receipt, and I gave YOU the invoice you signed for service that YOU agreed to this when YOU signed it. You are adding to my case against you. Remove your libelist posts before you have even more than you bargained for. Have you ever wondered what companies think of you? What is this Elementary school?

    I stated in my two reviews how Bernie at metro electronic is a lying thief and customer robber. This man never gave me a recipe he only gave me a small orange card as a pickup ID for the dvd recorder I am only asking customers to be extremely careful with this guy with paying a large sum of money upfront fo this guy to just look at a product for $85 plus. All of the unnecessary lying he is doing, I hope he is blessed with it. I know people like this guy should be reported to the BBB not just for the money but for the nasty thief he is.

    I've got the orange claim check you turned in; you wrote "took Mon 5/523/22 $85.00". So you even wrote it down that you paid $85 upfront! What you are doing is no different than writing a check and then stopping payment after you received service.

    What does it matter if you can't find your invoice, I'll send you a copy of it, signed by you, will that make you happy? I'd post it here but the BBB is only interested in conflict not actual proof or solving an issue. Just like you, based on your self-appoint judge and jury posts about business, wow over 400 I've copied. Impressive you have a lot of time on your hands to purposely cause harm and losses to many businesses. You have some history ****** ********. Did you ever think it might just be YOU? You didn't tell me the reason you called your credit card company. Was it because you tried to get your money back after contracting for service and you couldn't? You know why? It is because you are a crook! They know a scammer when they hear one! People don't work for free and you agreed to pay before work began! Again, another warning, stop spreading false and misleading statements. Govern yourself accordingly ****** ********.

    Thanks to the BBB for their outstanding service, an unmoderated rant and rave detriment to business while taking money from businesses and providing a platform for this to go on and on. I've got several hours in response to the harassment from ****** ******** and untold losses that we will document and accumulate from the responses of other businesses ****** ******** had done his best to ruin with his posts. Good job BBB shucking responsibility and hiding behind Section 230. It won't last much longer. I really hope I can get two birds with one stone when it's revoked. Statute of limitations is two years and the clock is ticking.

    I am wasting time as is because no customer can ruin a 3.2 business that is already ruin and Burnie C know this and the BBB Know this. I blame myself more for not checking the reviews in advance. I only ask that customers be aware. I am not the only customer with this complaint. So check metro electronic & repais inc, reviews before taking anything to be fix. This is a fair statement don't take my word, check the reviews prior to complaint. This business is not worth it and I have found a better place for business.

    Nice try! Too late, you reneged on an agreed to contract, discussed on the phone and in person before you contracted and paid for the service on your DVR/VCR. You're causing even more harm and more losses with this garbage. You aren't doing a service to your community. I am. People like you ruin it for the community. People see thru you; they see the real you. Remove and stop posting your rants.
