FP Property damaged 3 slabs of concrete in our driveway in July of 2022. We have waited for all most a year to have it repaired. I made several phones calls, several of which I was never contacted back by any manager. I sent e-mails with no response. Was able to get 2 estimates for repair work, with no acknowledgement on their part. I was able to get the repair work done, which cost me $4500.00. The damage was done by their *********** feel I should be paid for the damages. When their company was done with the water damage repai to our home, I immediately sent FP Property the insurance check and also our deductible. They were aware of the damages and stated they were responsible and would take care of the damages. I think we have been very patient and they need to be held accountable.

I am the homeowner and I'm filing a complaint against Vitto S., VP of Operations at FP Property Restoration for filing outrageous insurance claims for unnecessary work totaling $23,934.15. I've come across the Insurance Consumer Advocate webpage by My Florida CFO to be of help. I've noticed that my experience with FP Property Restoration follows the examples of fraud activities as outlined by the webpage at **************************************************. I have reasonable belief supported by hard evidence that this company has engaged in a fraud scheme to force unnecessary work resulting in higher charges to my insurance company and afflicting personal inconvenience to me and my family. Their unprofessionalism and unnecessary tactics have made working with them impossible. I haven't deposited a check of $1,300.45 from FP Property Restoration issued by their President, Steve G., to ensure there isn't a settlement with them.

I'd also like to emphasize the questions I have asked FP Property Restoration's VP of Operations in week 12 that still remains unanswered. Below are some of the highlights I'd like to list that raises my suspicion:
      1) Understand why they failed to stand by the findings from their "accurate" Thermal Imaging (IR) Technology when they used it on two different occasions to find the leak source in my house as they advertise to save me time and money per their website at **************************************************************;
      2) Their use of their repeated company phrases "I am not certified, so I cannot give any advice" and "Andrew is certified and is following company's protocol" were commonly stated by employees who insisted they were not certified as to shirk off any responsibility. It seems there was a concerted effort to put all the final decisions and direction on Andrew when they were operating autonomously. They refused to offer any information or supporting documentation to show that Andrew is certified or licensed.
      3) I'd like to know why the last project manager, Jaimie, and VP of FP Restoration ,Vitto, were both speechless when I presented the following pictures (
light fixture pic at *************************************************************** *******************,
      light fixture 02 pic at *************************************************************** *******************,
no water leak 01 pic at *************************************************************** *******************,
no water leak 02 pic at *************************************************************** *******************) as taken by ****, from ***** *** ********, the day when ****** ******* (****** ******* ****) and Andrew S. (FP) both came to inspect the house from the beginning.
      4) Explain or introduce me to ****** ********, as the assumed licensed contractor, since I have never met this person and his name is on the work contract on behalf of FP Property Restoration and to my surprise the VP of Operations, Vitto S., didn't know who he was as well;

I currently have a check to turn over to FP Property Restoration if they comply with certain conditions that meet my basic rights as a consumer. I've repeatedly requested the following tasks:
      * Restore the flooring to the same condition it originally was without hollow areas (around 50 spots) through the whole floor;
      * Reinstall the curtains and the smoke detector alarm on the first floor
      * Remove the cleaning fee from the invoice since they're not performing any cleaning service.
      * Send me the report justifying Project Manager, Andrew S., reason for placing a dehumidifier machine in my house when they publicly state on their website (************************************************************) that they produce a meter reading to the customer to explain why a dehumidifier is needed without any evidence of moisture from a water leak;
      * Another report from Andrew S. explaining his reason and due diligence for replacing the complete flooring on the first floor without finding the water leak source;

My experience with FP Property Restoration (***********************************) started from a water leak from a ceiling light fixture in the kitchen area of my home on a Friday (3/26/2021). I contacted a couple of AC companies including Arnold D., ****** ******* **** of whom I've worked with on my rental properties. (I discovered that Arnold has active certifications under FP Property Restoration. He didn't disclose his association with FP Property Restoration other than a company he has worked with as a referral.) Neither were able to identify the source of the water leak. ****** *** ******** referred me to FP Property Restoration to help find the source of the leak. I followed through with the referral and had Brandon from FP Property Restoration pay an initial visit. Brandon confirmed the leakage area but the source wasn't determined. Brandon asked why FP was called for their service when the moisture meter reading was within the normal range.

      WEEK 1 (3/28-4/3)
**FP Property Restoration Project Manager, Andrew S.**
The following day, FP Property Restoration sent their Project Manager, Andrew S. on a Wednesday (3/31/2021). Andrew gave more attention assessing the damaged area more than identifying the source of the leak. He insisted that the whole first floor was damaged due to the area affected by the leak in the kitchen area, contradicting Brandon's assessment of the floor the day before. I asked Andrew to take a small floor area (which I contest to be damaged) for further assessment since I had spare panels of the original flooring to his surprise. I did not agree with Andrew's assessment of replacing the whole first floor because it wasn't damaged at all due to a small amount of water drops from the leak. (it was only a hand size of water stain, occurred no more than 1-2 times per day) Andrew's response to my rebuttals for his proposed projects was to not worry since insurance will pay for it.

      *********, Senior Claims Associate *** *********
Andrew insisted on dehumidifying the kitchen area in spite of my disagreement. The dehumidifier is a loud machine that has to stay on for days. It was disruptive to my work, my daughter's online study at home and my toddler's sleep schedule. The dehumidifer was set up and turned on that day per our insurance agent's recommendation (*** ******* on 4/1/2021), my family and I had to make reservations at a hotel due to the disruptive sound of the dehumidifier.

Andrew concluded his visit to my house without a proposed project estimate report.

      ********** **** *********, Plumber, **** *********
The following Friday (4/2/2021), the insurance company sent a plumber, ****, to help identify the source of the water leak. **** turned off the dehumidifier because it was counterproductive to finding the water source leak as there was not a single drop of water from the dehumidifier at the time. **** gave me some directives on steps to help troubleshoot the leak source for the next few days. I informed Andrew that the dehumidifier was turned off per ****** instructions. My family and I checked into a hotel on 4/2/2021.

I spent the Saturday morning (4/3/2021) running water from the master bathroom's sink to find any leakage. I reported no leakage found to ****. I contacted Mike from FP Property Restoration to file a complaint about Andrew's decision to put the dehumidifier in the house which hindered **** from finding the source of the water leak. Mike was not qualified to give advice since he stated he's not certified like Andrew but he commented that this was company's protocol.

NOTE: Per FP Restoration's webpage "Florida Dehumidification Services" (************************************************************) explains what is a dehumidification and when or why it's needed. However, Andrew's insistence on using this service for my house doesn't meet the requirements they have on their public website.

"However, if an area has experienced flood or water damage, a professional hydrometer may be needed to properly dehumidify." My house did not experience a flood or water damage as we were still trying to find the water leak source.

      WEEK 2 (4/4 - 4/10)
I spent Sunday morning (4/4/2021) running water from the master bathroom's shower. I reported no leakage found to ****.

**FP Restoration Property, Claims Manager Vincent I.**
The following day on Monday (4/5/2021) I continuously flushed the toilet in the master bathroom. I reported no leakage found to ****. I spoke to FP Property's Claims Manager, Vincent I., with current status on not finding the source of the leak.

      **FP Restoration Property, Ricardo L.**
On Tuesday (4/6/2021), I returned home to lower the AC temperature and didn't use any water from the master bathroom. FP Property Restoration Andrew and Ricardo L. arrived to help locate the water leak source. To my surprise, Andrew discovered a few drops of water on the overflow sink joint in the master bathroom located above the kitchen ceiling on the first floor. He identified this as a possible source of the water leak. (report at *************************************************************** *******************) I disagreed because no one had used the sink since last Saturday morning. Andrew turned on the dehumidifier upon leaving the house.

**** arrived later to check where Andrew had potentially identified the water leak source. **** called Andrew and had a conversation in disagreement with Andrew's finding. **** said that Andrew did not think that was the source either but this is what he found.

I inspected the house for any leak the following day (4/7/2021) and reported no leakage found to ****. I had a conversion with Vincent at FP Property Restoration to file a complaint about Andrew. I did not feel it was necessary to replace the whole flooring nor with the overflow sink joint being the leak source. Vincent stated that he was not qualified to offer advice since he was not certified but Andrew does. He also said that Andrew was following company's protocol. I asked Vincent what they're proposing to fix the plumbing issue and he replied that they don't have an answer yet and will need to discuss it with Andrew.

      **Insurance Adjuster, **** *********
I had a scheduled visit with our insurance adjuster, ****, at 5:30 PM the following day on Thursday (4/8/2021). The meeting had to be rescheduled for the following day due to heavy road traffic. I contacted Vincent again for next steps with FP Property Restoration. He said I had to remove the furniture off the first floor so they could start removing the flooring. I was instructed to contact Andrew to understand what his plans for my house were. I was told that this project was going to include repairing the plumbing in the kitchen ceiling along with the flooring so even though I was in disagreement with the flooring I complied with their request to move my downstairs furniture to keep them from getting damaged once the kitchen ceiling repair started.

The following day on 4/9/2021, I checked into another hotel and met with **** for our rescheduled visit. **** suggested that there was no need to replace the entire floor. He also said that they would have to replumb all the pipes from upstairs if we couldn't find the water leak source. I called Vincent to request a report from Andrew to understand what Andrew was stating and proposing. I contacted Arnold from ****** **** in regard to FP Property Restoration to confirm that his company was working with FP.

My wife and I spent our Saturday and Sunday mornings (4/10 - 4/11) cleaning and moving our household items from the first floor to the second floor per Andrew's request for the floor removal.

      WEEK 3 (4/11 - 4/17)
On Monday 4/12, **** *******, insurance adjuster, submitted his report of the suggestions he stated last Friday of no need to replace the floor and possibly replumbing the second floor if a water leak source wasn't found. I contacted Vicent at FP Property Restoration on what their plans were to fix the leakage. He said that Andrew wanted to start removing the floor first before fixing the leakage issue. That did not make sense to me.

I contacted Vincent the following day (4/13) asking what FP would do if the leakage persisted after they had completed the flooring. I also asked to know what their plans were for my house. I didn't have an answer from Vincent. I had a moving company move my downstairs furniture to temporary storage.

I received the report from the insurance adjuster on Wednesday (4/14) and I forwarded it to Vincent.

On Thursday (4/15), FP Property Restoration was scheduled to remove the floor as Andrew stated "damaged". I requested that they were permissible to only remove 1 or 2 pieces to check if there was any moisture underneath. I specifically asked to not remove too much of the flooring because I had spare flooring in the garage. I received an insurance check for the amount of $14,649.90.

      **FP Property Restoration, Laborer Brandon**
Friday (4/16/2021), Brandon from FP Property Restoration removed the flooring in excess of what I had asked. The floor removed exceeded the amount of spares I had. Brandon and I also did not find any flooring damage due to water. I witnessed Brandon's call to Andrew to give a report of his findings. I asked Brandon why he removed so much flooring and he said he was told to do so by Andrew. I contacted Arnold, ****** ****, asking if he was notified by FP to schedule a job to fix the piping. He said he wasn't notified.

I didn't receive a reply from Andrew the following day on Saturday (4/17). I sent a text message to Vincent with a request to not have anyone in my house until I'm informed of what their plans are.

      WEEK 4 (4/18 - 4/24)
I received a reply from Andrew on Sunday (4/18) stating he didn't have a conversation with Brandon at all.

On Monday (4/19), I was contacted by Vincent informing me that the entire first floor had to be replaced as ordered by Andrew, their Project Manager. I asked why they don't just replace the flooring with the same model instead. They didn't ask about my spares and instead insisted on removing the entire first floor. Vincent replied that he's only following Andrew's orders.

I drove one and a half hours from Orlando (from prior family vacation arrangements) to meet Ricardo at my house. Brandon had already started removing the flooring with Vanessa doing the cleaning.

Tuesday (4/20), Brandon was alone on continuing to remove the first floor flooring with Vanessa helping with the cleaning. I turned the guest bathroom sink on and water started dripping from the kitchen ceiling. Brandon contacted FP Property Restoration about the discovery and I contacted ****, plumber referred by insurance, about my finding. At the conclusion of this day, I still haven't received an estimate invoice, estimated project plan with working days, and no contact with a plumbing company to fix the water leak.

Wednesday (4/21), Brandon was alone on continuing to remove the first floor flooring with Vanessa helping with the cleaning. Andrew and Ricardo stopped by the house early in the morning. To my surprise, Ricardo told me to find a plumber on my own because FP has nothing to do with my water leak issue. I followed up with Vincent to what Ricardo informed me and asked why I wasn't told that there wasn't a plan to fix the plumbing. Vincent told me to contact their President Steve G. to address this issue and work out a solution.

**FP Property Restoration, President Steve G.**
Steve came by my house for a visit to discuss the issues at hand. Steve made the following 4 solutions: 1) ****** **** will work on the leaking pipe today (4/21), 2) four more people will assist Brandon with the floor removal tomorrow (4/22), 3) he will schedule to choose a new floor plan on Friday (4/23), and 4) the flooring will be completed on Monday (4/26). I asked Steve why the flooring was removed before fixing the leak and he didn't know but agreed that they shouldn't have started removing the floor before fixing the leaking issue. Steve promised to make things right with urgency and offered to pay half of my hotel stay with all plumbing costs. I received a check for $1,300.45 from FP Restoration Property as Steve promised that still remains undeposited. I was concerned this check would signal my approval as a settlement for their work on my house.

Later that day, a plumber from ****** **** came by to test the leakage again and found none. He didn't leave his name or contact information.

I had a conversation with Vincent and he said they will have Brandon, Ricardo, Andrew, and the other 2 laborers come tomorrow. He also scheduled a flooring match on Friday (4/23) from 1 to 2 PM. I also had a conversation with Arnold of ****** **** and he said he will come by tomorrow (4/22) from 12 to 2 PM.

Thursday (4/22), the floor's removal was completed by five people that day. I had a conversation with Arnold and Andrew at noon. Andrew proposed a plan to fix the leaking problem by removing the master bathroom countertop, sink, and all the connected pipes. I rebutted that I didn't think it was necessary to remove the countertop and the sink. Arnold stated that insurance will pay for it. I contacted our insurance and spoke with Kim, who informed me to my surprise that the insurance will not pay for the plumbing services and material. This was a surprise to Arnold and myself but this information was made known to Andrew. This begs to question why Andrew initially told me that insurance would pay for everything. Andrew said that he will confirm with Steve if FP Property Restoration can pay for the plumbing labor costs and I as the owner will pay for the materials. Arnold said he would pay for the new countertop.

**FP Property Restoration VP of Operations, Vitto S.**
Friday (4/23), Vitto S. arrived at my house for our 2 PM new flooring matching appointment. He promised to follow up over the weekend to confirm if he has the same flooring in his inventory. I didn't receive a confirmation from Andrew as to who will cover the plumbing labor costs.

Saturday (4/24), I contacted Vincent by text message to find out from Andrew or Steve that the plan will be moving forward. Vincent replied that he would follow up with Andrew and that FP will not do the flooring until the pipe is fixed. Arnold from ****** Pros wasn't sure how to fix the pipe yet.

      WEEK 5 (4/25 - 5/1)
Sunday (4/25), I had a conversation with Arnold from ****** ****. He was told that FP will pay for the plumbing labor costs and that I will pay for the materials. Arnold insisted on replacing the countertop, sink, and pipes. Arnold changed his mind and said that he will not pay for the new countertop but may consider offering me a 10% discount. He said he will schedule his plumber to come to the house tomorrow (4/26).

Monday (4/26), In my conversation with Vincent, he confirmed that FP will pay for the plumbing labor costs with the understanding that I will pay for the materials. I will also need to pay $2,500 deductible to order the new flooring. The insurance first check will pay for the rest of the new floor. The remaining cost from FP services will be billed to the insurance later. I would need to sign the FP documents when Vitto arrives at my house. I asked when to expect Vitto to come by the house with the flooring samples.

Vitto didn't arrive as expected. Vitto called after 5:30 PM and said he would leave the sample at the front door of the house and have me confirm it the following day. Vitto didn't mention anything about signing any documents.

I contacted ***** *** ******** *** for a second opinion scheduled for tomorrow (4/27) from 12 to 2 PM. Arnold did not send his plumber to the house as promised.

Tuesday (4/27), I received flooring samples at the house and I called Vitto to confirm the model. The plumber from ***** *** ******** had to reschedule his visit for Friday (4/30) from 12 to 2 PM.

      ******* *** ******** ***, **** ***********
On Friday (4/30), **** from ***** *** ******** came to investigate the water leak source. He found a water stain on the kitchen floor. He also found an L shape pipe dripping but no moisture or mold spreading in the nearby area above the kitchen ceiling. He confirmed that there was no water stain found below the sink overflow pipe in contradiction to Andrew's report. **** made the comment "it was impossible for the leak of overflow pipe to cause the damage of the wood flooring on the first floor to be entirely removed," We scheduled a follow up on Monday (5/3) at 7:30 AM to open the drywall.

I texted Vincent to inform him that I'm having ***** *** ******** work on fixing the plumbing instead of ****** **** and I wanted to ensure that FP will still cover the plumbing labor costs. I also asked if FP will consider finishing the drywall work?

Vincent replied that he's on vacation and to contact Andrew. I sent another text to Vincent requesting Steve's phone number. I didn't receive a reply from Vincent.

I texted Andrew with the same questions I had previously asked Vincent. I didn't receive a reply from Andrew.

I texted Vitto asking when the new flooring material will be delivered to Tampa. He replied that will arrive next week without a specific date.

      WEEK 6 (5/2 - 5/8)
On Monday (5/3), **** from ***** *** ******** arrived as scheduled at 7:30 AM. he opened the guest room drywall and didn't find any leakage. **** wanted to access the attic to inspect the AC drain line. He found the copper AC drain line cracked with a lot of water dripping from the pipe.

      *** ******* *** *******, *** (https://oelair.com/) Owner **** *** and Technician ***** *****
I contacted the company who installed the AC drain line in the attic on July 17, 2017. I've had an ongoing issue with my air conditioner working with *** ******* * ******* since they installed the drain line. They were one of the companies I had asked to help identify the water leak source back on 4/29. Their technician, ***** *****, had ruled out that the water leak had anything to do with the AC unit. He refused to inspect the drain line in the attic after I had asked him to on two separate occasions.

The owner, **** ***, came to my house at 11:30 AM and repaired the cracked AC drain line in the attic. He scheduled a date to replace the insulation around the AC drain line for 5/17 from 8 to 10 AM. I am currently in contention with his company for failing to inspect the AC drain line they had installed and they were the only ones who had accessed the attic before **** from ***** *** ********. (I have filed a complaint against *** ******* *** *******, *** to both the Florida Attorney General's Office and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. on Monday 7/12/2021)

I contacted FP Property Restoration and my insurance company to report the water leakage from the AC drain line.

I spoke to Vincent and he confirmed that FP will pay for the plumbing costs in full and will pay half the hotel bill from April 30 to May 14.

Tuesday (5/4), I texted Vitto asking "when will the new flooring materials be delivered to Tampa?" He replied that will contact the vendor.

Thursday (5/6), I was contacted by Vincent and was told that the flooring will be done by Wednesday (5/12) and that I'm scheduled to move back to my house on Friday (5/14). He stated he will send completion of demo work for me to sign. I responded that I would not sign until I see the two reports of why they put a dehumidifier in the house and why they removed the entire flooring. Vincent sent a brief description with incorrect information but not the report with supporting data nor name with a signature (PDF at *************************************************************** ******************* ). I can't accept this as a credible report. Vincent also confirmed the 5/12 date to start installing the flooring.

Vitto texted me stating that the floors just shipped out but they won't be in until Monday 5/10). They need to acclimate so the install will need to take place on Wednesday (5/12).

      WEEK 7 (5/9 - 5/15)
Tuesday (5/11), I contacted Vitto to confirm what time the flooring installation was planned for tomorrow. Vitto replied 10:00 AM.

Wednesday (5/12), I received an email from my insurance, ***, with the following two notices: 1) a dwelling repair supplement check has been issued and 2) FP estimate final draft (PDF at *************************************************************** ******************* ).

FP (****** ******** ********* Project Manager ****** ******) delivered the flooring materials to the house at 10 AM. I received a text message from Vitto stating "Due to acclimation needed, can't start install until Friday 5/14." I called Vincent to complain about this schedule delay again. I also had to make another trip from Orlando to Tampa because of this reschedule. My family and I were staying in Orlando for a short while. I also told Vincent that there were too many people asking for the door lock code and I felt unsafe. Vincent responded that Vitto had explained what was needed and there was nothing else FP could do.

Thursday (5/13), JR from FP Property Restoration called to ask for the code to my house. I refused to give him the code and replied that there was no job done yesterday so there was no need for him to come in. JR asked what the floor design was and I replied that he was keeping the same as before. I also texted Vitto to make sure to keep the same design as before which was confirmed by Vitto. JR scheduled to start the flooring installation tomorrow which will take 2 to 3 days to complete.

Friday (5/14), I couldn't find a Florida license or certification for both Andrew S.s and Ricardo L. at FP Property Restoration.

Saturday (5/15), Kevin and Pete, retired school teachers, arrived to start the flooring installation at the house. I felt the project was too large of an undertaking for them due to experience.

      WEEK 8 (5/16 - 5/22)
Sunday (5/16), Kevin and Pete arrived to continue their second day of installing the flooring at the house.

      FP Property Restoration, Jamie
Monday (5/17), Kevin and Pete arrived to finish installing the flooring at the house. **** ***, owner of *** ******* *** *******, ***, arrived at the house to complete the AC drain line repair by installing the insulation in the attic.

Jamie, another Project Manager from FP Property Restoration, came to the house informing me that he will estimate the remaining work to be done. We scheduled to meet the following day.

I received an email from ***, the insurance, about issuing a dwelling repair supplement check based on FP Property repair estimate. A copy of their estimate and the payment letter based on the supplement check of $2,474.74 that would be mailed to my home address.

Tuesday (5/18), in my meeting with Jamie, I showed him pictures of my floors taken just before Andrew wrote his report. Jamie replied that it seems like the project is complete and that the floor installers did a good job. I asked Jamie to repeat himself a couple of times. I then explained that these photos were taken before Andrew submitted his report and as he can see that there was no damage to the floors at all. There was no need for a dehumidifier nor to rip my floors. Jamie replied that he wasn't there from the beginning so he can't make any further comment.

Wednesday (5/19), Jamie took over as the new FP Project Manager for my house and he said he planned to close the case on 5/26 even if the project remains unfinished.

Friday (5/21), FP Property Restoration sent two painters to paint the entire ceiling on the first floor when I wasn't present. However, as I was reviewing their work, I didn't find evidence of any new paint. My furniture was delivered and placed in the middle of the living room which would make painting the ceiling nearly impossible.

I sent a text message to Jamie to report my findings and conveyed my concerns.

Jamie replied the following message, "Excuse me, it is 7:53pm. You can call me or text like you said you wouldn't message me. According to you, you wouldn't talk to me till Monday?"

" After the amount of calls and texts you have given me, you better let me talk and explain your complaints which are non stop. So, be rational please. Thanks."

"You are complaining about the same thing we have talked about; can we get you moved in and then a punch list. I am sure it will be long even though it should be short."

On Saturday (5/22), I asked a friend of mine who is also a professional painter to inspect the supposed paint job on my ceiling. On video, he stated that the ceiling was not painted in its entirety. It was a touch up paint job with some new points on certain areas of the ceiling.

      WEEK 9 (5/23 - 5/29)
Sunday (5/23), FP Property Restoration sent someone to work on the floor baseboards but the job was incomplete.

Monday (5/24), Jamie came to the house and fixed the front door lock. He disagreed with my finding that the ceiling was not painted completely. I dabbed a touch of fresh paint on a corner of the ceiling and told Jamie that we'll see what the paint looks like tomorrow.

Tuesday (5/25), the new paint from yesterday was wiped off from the ceiling when I inspected it.
I contacted my insurance representative, ***, and told her of my situation. She replied that they would back up the owner in this situation.

Wednesday (5/26), I had another conversation with *** and her tone changed as she stated that "the owner would be responsible for whatever happened from FP because the owner signed the agreements."

FP sent Josh to fix the flooring issue with hollow spots but he had to leave early because he didn't have sufficient material on hand. A flooring subcontractor from FP, George, called to explain that the material was warranted for 3 years and that the hollow sounds from the floor were normal. I disagreed because my original flooring didn't have any hollow sound spots.

Thursday (5/27), the new kitchen stove, ordered by George, was delivered (The original stove was damaged by the two floor installers). A painter arrived at 4:30 PM to continue painting the pantry and complete the baseboard installation. However, after the painter left, I found a can of beer with a paper bag in the garbage bin which tainted my trust in their professionalism. Jamie scheduled a meeting with Vitto, George, himself, and I for tomorrow at 9 AM at the house to discuss the flooring with the hollow sound issues but I refused the meeting after I learned they were just trying to convince me those hollow sounds were normal.

Friday (5/28), my family and I checked out of the hotel and returned to our incomplete house with unfinished paint, unfinished baseboards, removed curtains, furniture still gathered in the middle of the living room, and the house was filled with dust.

Saturday (5/29), I had another painting company come to my house to inspect my ceiling and they also confirmed that it hadn't been painted completely but only in spots.

      WEEK 10 (5/30 - 6/5)
Thursday (6/3), Vincent called to informed he had scheduled a meeting with Vitto and Jamie to meet me at the house at 10 AM on Tuesday (6/8). Vincent also informed me that their President Steve regretted the promise and refused to pay for half of the hotel fee and the full amount for the plumbing and AC labor costs. Vincent promised to send me Andrew's report to support his reason for ripping out my floor, the itemized invoice of the project, and Andrew's license number.

      WEEK 11 (6/6 - 6/12)
Tuesday (6/8), Jamie and George arrived at my house to discuss the punch list they need to complete to close out my case.

Wednesday (6/9), the painter, ***** ******* of ******* ***** **********, completed painting the whole ceiling, base, and some areas on the wall.

      WEEK 12 (6/13 - 6/19)
Wednesday (6/16), Vincent sent me an email with 4 PDFs from FP. Upon reviewing the quotes, it bothered me to see how outrageous the charges were, such as paying $90 just for the painters to wear their masks before painting in one room. The estimates showed certain items were painted with double coats when I found many were painted with single coats and some were just touched paint. (PDFs Packout at *************************************************************** ******************* , Repair Estimate at *************************************************************** ******************* , Estimate at *************************************************************** ******************* , Invoice at *************************************************************** ******************* )

On Thursday (6/17), Vitto and I had a meeting at my house to address some of the questions I needed answered.

      FP Property Restoration, ? ****** ****** ********
I asked Vitto, who is ****** ****** ********. Vitto, VP of Operations, did not know who ****** ****** ******** was. ******' name was on the Work Authorization contract (PDF at *************************************************************** ******************* ) I signed with FP Restoration Property on 4/15. This contract was given to me to sign in person by Andrew S. on 4/15. I anticipated he would sign his name on the blank spaces next to my name but he took the contract with him. I didn't receive a copy of the signed contract until 6/16. I told him that the work authorization may not be valid if nobody knows who ****** ******** is. Vitto said he was the only one with a contract license in the entire company. I later found out that their President Steve also had a contractor's license.

I also asked why the floors had so many hollow points. I used blue masking tape to mark all the hollow points (total of 50 points) on my floor. I can't accept that it is normal to have hollow spots on a floor as that wasn't the case with the floors they had removed. I asked Home Depot about hollow spots on new flooring and they told me that it can either be bad flooring materials or the fault of the floor installer. Either way, FP Restoration Property was responsible for sourcing the materials as well as the labor.

I asked Vitto as head of operations why the floors were completed before the paint jobs on the ceiling and walls. No answer.

I also asked what was the reason for Andrew S. unnecessarily removing more than 2 floor board pieces after I had told him the amount of spares I had?

I asked why Andrew S. assigned my house a dehumidifier when the meter reading was within the normal range and there were no signs of mold anywhere. Vitto rebutted and said that he will have photos and meter readings to prove that there was actual damage to my house. I haven't heard from Vitto nor anyone from FP since this last meeting.

      FP Property Restoration Response

      09/13/2021

This is an issue we have been having to deal with At FP. Mr ** has created his own version of events and there is no resolution with him at this time. We will no longer allow this homeowner to abuse FP employees- he has had great enjoyment yelling, berating, threatening everyone. This is one customer who all contractors, business owners need to be aware of as he sets out to abuse those around him, make demands and when he does not get his way threaten legal action. We are ready to respond as well.
