I entered the business on December 2nd to inquire about rates. I explained that I couldn't start right away as I was going on vacation. The salesperson was extremely pushy and convinced me to sign up for classes when I got back from vacation on December 23rd. He was diligent in explaining that if I needed to change dates to call back. I called back on December 15th and told an associate that I was starting school and had night classes. I explained that I still wanted to start but it wouldn't be until February. I was told it would be no problem and to call back when I was ready to start. My card was charged $119 on December 23rd. I called the gym and was told that a manager was not working but would call me back in 24 hours. Nobody called back. I called back twice more and was told the manager doesn't work very often. I had no choice but to file a credit card dispute. I was extremely upset when I received another charge of $119 on January 23rd. This time when I called I spoke to a manager and explained the situation. She explained they don't do refunds but would reach out to the franchise owner and call me back. She called back today to inform me that they would not refund my money. I am extremely upset. I gave advanced notice that I could not attend classes. I have been charged $238 and have never attended a single class. I would like a refund to avoid pursuing legal action.
