Platinum Ftiness has been charging my husband's credit card without his signature or authorization. My husband did a promotional program which I had already done. I accompanied him and said I wanted a contract for 30 days only. They handed me a contract and told me to sign quickly as class was beginning. In fine print, even though I checked a month contract as opposed to annual, it stated that they would charge a card every month. They never asked my husband to sign this (it was his card). They also knew I only wanted 30 days and did not inform me that I would continue to be charged. Prior to attending, they contacted me every single day to come back after my promotional period. It was clearly high pressure sales. Approximately after 7 days of attending, my husband and I both contracted COVID. We believed we got COVID from their facility as they followed zero health recommendations for cleaning, physical distance and mask use. In fact, daily I asked them to please stop shaking my hand. We called them and they agreed to extend our membership accordingly. Clearly, they did not want us flagging their unhealthy business practices. When we completed the program, I never heard from them again. They stopped contacting me altogether (as I now have figured out) because they were continuing to charge my husband's card without his authorization and did not wish to expose this fraud. I just learned that they have been charging this card for the past 10 months. I confronted the receptionist Alison (presented me with the contract) and told her this was a scam. Josh M. then contacted me and said I was rude and need to apologize!! Preposterous. These people are criminals! When I told Josh people on Yelp complained of the same scam, this was his response: "For every Yelp review and former disgruntled customer you will find we have 10 people who's (sic) lives were dramatically changed by what we do." Wow - what an admission!
