We paid a deposit of $1550 on June 2, 2023 for gutters and leaf guards. The work was supposed to start within 2 weeks, which came and went with no installation. After a few calls to the office to check on the situation, I received a text message the evening of July 5th at 6:44pm saying they were coming to do the install the following morning. I was at my church small group at the time, so I did not respond until 8:41pm confirming. The crew never showed up the following day. I called the office again to check on everyone and was told we were replaced because I did not immediately confirm the text message. I called back every 3 or 4 days hoping to get scheduled and I was promised a half a dozen times they would call us back to let us know when and they never called. I was always very sweet and kind to the lady. My calls were not rude or aggressive in anyway.July 24th, we still had no gutters. We called to cancel the contract and asked for the refund of the deposit. We were told that the owner was in meetings all day, but that they would process the refund the following day. Still no refund has been issued. I reported this to my CC company.I don't know if this is just a complete scam or a legitimate business that is struggling with labor forces... but if they are legit, their communication skills leave much to be desired. Our sales rep was ***************************. Super nice guy. He seemed completely legit, so either he is being scammed too or he is very good at the con. I believe the office gal's name is *****.
