    We made a rental reservation in May of 2021 for our winter vacation for January and February 2022 at the Golden Palms Luxury Motorcoach Resort. Ask several questions regarding the property and lot. We were told the lot was of "premium quality". They did not disclosure anything else at the time. In October, we receive a call from the manager/developer that there would be some construction but not near us. It was too late to make another reservation for any other location, so we were stuck with trusting him and the lot owner of site #85. When we arrived, we discovered that the owner, manager/developer totally mislead and misrepresented the property and conditions. The lot was not premium, it was full of weeds and construction everywhere! We ask to be relocated or refund our money and they refused. I would never stay at this property ever again. NEVER AGAIN! In our experience, we would not trust the owner/manager/developer even if they gave it away for free! Be warned!!!!!

    We were concerned our winter guests would not be happy if they arrived for their stay without knowing there would be construction going on throughtout their stay. For this reason we reached out to everyone who had reservations with us including Mr ****. We contacted Mr **** in September of 2021 to let him know we were new and there would be considerable construction of casitas and RV pads. At that time we offered him a full refund if that was not the environment he wanted to stay in. He was very aggressive, threatening a lawsuit etc. When he threatened to sue us, we said we were cancelling his reservation. He then calmed down and stated he already had trips planned to Disney, dinners with friends etc and while not happy there would be construction he wanted to keep his reservation with a 20% discount. We told him we there would not be a discount as we had a waiting list of potential renters. We then emailed him a letter which he responded to acknowledging his receipt of and agreement to. Here is the email exchange in full:

    What Ron G. fails to point out is that he waited until late September to notify us of any construction on the property. We tried to book reservations elsewhere, but it was too late in the calendar year for the season. The construction is through the entire park and has been planned for months. Ron G. was aware of this but waited until the last minute to notify us so we would have very little chance of getting a reservation anywhere else.
    Ron G. has been untruthful with us and mislead us.
    This park has terrible Road Noise 24hrs.every day. Our lot has not been maintained, has weeds everywhere. Other lot owners have complained to us as well of the very poor management regarding Ron G.. This has been our worst experience of our traveling lives all due to Ron G. and his dishonesty!
    Be WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY from Golden Palms Luxury Motorcoach facility.
