I had been struggling with trauma, significant loss and overall panic/anxiety. I sought out a few institutions for inpatient care and based on what *** the *** explained what the program was. I asked ***** questions many times about certain aspects that made be uncomfortable. He assured me time and again I would need to so those things based on my traumas. He even said this is a recorded line, we can ***lay this any time to assure you Im telling truth. I live in an ****** and didnt have find to travel to ******* or home. He also assured they would cover the costs one of flying me there and home. Before I left I asked him and other for copies of papers Id be signing so I could review them beforehand for me and with my husband. He claimed there were no documents to sign except r a HIPPA one. With hesitation but trust in what *** and others promised I left for Prisma July *******.upon arrival things quickly were not as they described. They tore through my things taking away about half of my belongings saying theyd keep them safe leaving me with one basket of things I didnt get get to choose. We sat in a tiny room without air conditioning for HOURS while I signed paperwork larger than when you buy a house. Again, no copies could be provided. Staff was not kind and would let me leave the room to even go to restroom with supervision. I told them it was too much and didnt want move forward anymore and wanted to go home. They for aggressive and time even raised his voice at me over the phone. I was crying hysterical the entire time because of how awful it was and I was along half way across the country without a dollar to my name. I asked for help getting a plane ticket home as they promised and the wouldnt. Instead they threw all my belonging in a pile in one of the 2 suitcases and left me stranded to figure it out alone. I continued to ask For what I had already signed and was denied over and over. And right before I left was told I was being recorded as well.
