1-14-22. $2029 INew 2021 Ice Bear Malibu 150cc Motor Scooter Purchased above item at their location in fort myers. Much confusion and difficulty with paperwork. Originally filled out paperwork for a different motor scooter. After close to 3 hours, signed and paid for motor scooter. Was advised of a 90-day warranty. Was advised to come back anytime with any problems and we will take care of it. Later that night we discovered the headlights were not working. We went back the next day 1:-15-22 and advised them of the issue. Owner was not very receptive. He advised he didn't know what the problem was and we would need to leave the scooter for him to repair. He said he had eight other paying customers bikes to repair, and didn't know how long it would be. The bike was left and after a day we were called and advised that they had not hooked up the headlights. We picked up the motor scooter and went home. Within the next week or so, the scooter showed signs of mechanical / electrical issues. The bike had no power and labored acceleration. Went back to the merchant, who now was very belligerent. Said that we would have to leave the scooter for several weeks before he would have a chance to look at it. Requested a replacement or refund at this point. We bought a new scooter so we would not have these kinds of difficulties. He was very condescending which was a complete 180 from when he was selling us the scooter. This scooter is the sole transportation for my son. He has now lost his job due to lack of reliable transportation. At this point in time, the scooter will not even start. We just want what we paid for; a scooter that is reliable and operational. Repair at this point is not an option as there have been too many problems with the scooter. We would either like a replacement or a refund so we can purchase a scooter from a more customer service oriented merchant. Not one that promises you rainbows and butterflies but provides the complete opposite.
