AVOID HONDA OF FT MYERS AT ALL COST!!! My father (75 years old) went to Honda of Ft Myers with my son (17 years old) to get him a car. The only thing that was important to him was that the car has never been involved in an accident. They sold him a ****** for 13,000$ that ended up costing 21,000$ with all kinds of unnecessary fees and extra charges...I was furious!!! Not only the price increase that they pulled out of nowhere, but also the door was leaking water like crazy every time it rained!!! I went to the dealership to get $ back for some of the fees and get the door fixed. Of course the ** who was in, was not available to see me...I got nothing back and was requested to pay 200$ for door diagnosis! What a rip off! They take advantage of elderly and children! The worst car buying experience ever! STAY AWAY FROM HONDA OF FT MYERS!!!Review from Walter P

void going there. I had the worst experience ever. The very attentive sellers will make you feel in heaven but when you ask for the vehicle numbers it is another story because although the prices are very low on the website or when the seller shows you the vehicle on his tablet when you arrive at the time to buy they are not low because there is that price that it says on the page, always add $2890 if on their page it shows that the car is $9,000, in reality the sale of the car is for $12,000 plus fees and taxes. Don't be fooled by that part. They surprised me when I saw the difference because for a car worth $15,423 with their adds they were charging me $21,890. And since the purchase was cash, I don't want to imagine how much it would be if it were financed. I had to goHonda of Fort Myers Response

Run away! I contacted Ft Myer Honda about a used Kia Soul. They sent me a url for the car and there was NO DISCLOSURE of their exorbitant fees. When we sat down to do paper work the price had risen almost $6000! $1200 for documents, a $400 dealer fee and over $2000 for their "Advantage" package which is mandatory. A package of useless fluff I don't want and had not been done on the car I wanted to buy. In other reviews they claim to have disclosed their fees. 100% wrong. I understand dealer have to make money, but this was ridiculous.Honda of Fort Myers Response

We have tried to call, text, and email - the customer has not responded to us. We will give the customer till Friday March 8th 2024 end of business day to make a decision if she would like to unwind the deal - after Friday the 8th -if we dont hear from her , then we have to assume that she has accepted the terms of the deal, and is staying in the vehicle.Honda of Fort Myers Response

What a terrible experience. The entire process was awful. The 2022 Tahoe was priced very well. When looking over the vehicle, the carpet on the back of the back seat was pulled away. I asked the sales person (who was very good) ft that could be fixed. He said no, the vehicle is”as is.” I agreed to buy the vehicle. When the sales person wrote up the sales agreement, there was two add on’s that I wasn’t informed about. Honda Fort Myers Advantage $2,608, which was described as cleaners, fabric protection (for leather seats, really) rain repellent, battery protection, surface sanitizer, headlight protection and car care products (don’t know what they are but didn’t get anything) Then there was DOC fee $1,199. Seriously. So what I thought was a very good price, turned out to be a competitive price. The process to get to the end was a terrible experience. If this is the way all dealers work, there should be some form of fair disclosure upfront. Oh and when I took possession of the vehicle, they gave me one key fab, not two. When I asked for the second one, the answer again, “it’s as is.” The lesson is ask for all add ons before you go shopping.Honda of Fort Myers Response

We bought a HRV back in July, we were moving to N Florida and over our mileage on our lease so we we’re in a hurry.Let me tell you this dealership doesn’t care we were suppose to get 6.5 % and they stuck us w 9.1 after telling them we could get it from our credit Union, they stuck us w 10, 000 dollars worth of products we didnt need were able to drop from a outside warranty, they gave us a Zip drive and sent us on our way( our fault) we trusted them at face value( don’t do it) be careful, we finally dumped the car and we are still upside down but are in a car we like, never again “fool me once shame on you” fool me twice nope No Honda for us!! Stay clear of this place

I drove there from Daytona beach to purchase a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus for around $30k called first to make sure ad was right vehicle on lot and drive 3 hours to hear we just sold it!!!! But let me show you what else we have just like it but $15k to $20k more!!! WTF!!! I left steaming mad and prayed to God that those Demo s go out of business. Then 2 weeks ago the same car still listed so I call and the sole less Demon from hell says that vehicle will not be ready for 8 to 10 months but let me tell you what else we have I explain to him what has already happened to me there and why is the ad still all over the internet and he hangs up on me! I call Honda Headquarters and email everyone I can find email address for at Honda to let them know about the Scum representation of their name dozens of times of the last couple months plus the owner of that dealership and I have yet to get a simple response or a apology or THE DAMN BAIT AD TAKING DOWN NOTHING!? I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE ALL THESE DEALERSHIP GO BROKE AD WELL AS SLL THEIR EMPLOYEE’s I pray that none of them get unemployment and that it tears all their families apart and they all and up alone and food less and penniless and homeless sleeping in human waste gutters on the streets!Review from Francis Paul R

worst experience at Honda of Fort Myers. We had driven up from Naples to look at a 2020 lexus and trade in our 2010 lexus. We purchsed the 2020 lexus. Driving on I75 the car started to shake above 50mph. Also, only 1 key fob which was missing the manual key. Car had not been cleaned and there was a sticker saying no smoking or a fine would be enforced. We were not told it was a rental. We called the dealership and told them we were not happy, and they said we would have to come back. Drove back to Fort Myers. Wanted to cancel the deal, did not trust the condition of the car. Told they could not do this. We said we would buy a new car if they could give the same deal. They agreed. The car was a 2024 honda CR-V hybrid sport. In the office the financial guy asks us to sign various papers on the computer table. He never shows as any printed paperwork of all the figures. Says we have to buy this warrenty or he cant give as the same amount for our trade in. Which we found out was not true. He greatly misled as . He then hands as a thumb drive and says all the information about the contract is on the pdf files. We are therefore ignorant of all the many other fees that have been added on. We leave dealership and arrive in Naples close to 10 pm. It is Sunday morning when I finally printed out all the paperwork, and realize we have paid way to much than what we had discussed. We called the dealership and said we wanted to cancel the two warrenties. At first they were reluctant, but they then relented and said they would. Even with almost $5000. of canceled warrenties we have still paid way to much for this car. I feel the whole buying process was not upfront, and we had not been made aware of the final figure that was to be financed. I wish we had our old car back. This has been a terrible experience. I would advise anyone to make sure they see a printed sheet of all the add ons , and the total amount that they will be financing before signing anything!Review from Jessie B

What can I say? They saw me coming. I have had my car since Feb 2022. There were so many red flags while purchasing but I was just ignoring it I guess. Since then. I’ve asked them to look at my screen since it will freeze and I have to reboot. I know I have a warranty that’s paid into my purchase but I was told $99 just to diagnose. Really? For the past year and a half I get emails and calls…”we have this deal and this and that… let’s see if we can lower your payment. We’re buying back cars, etc”. I get it. It’s a sales tactic. No problem. I go in 2 weeks ago for an oil change. I’m barely mobile after a knee injury. I get a text… “hey “…..” where are you? Let’s see while we’re here if we can lower your payments and so on and so forth. He has me, not walk, but limp across the dealer ship. I sit in his office he asks a couple questions and then tells me can’t do anything. As I’m STILL asking questions and speaking… he leaves the office! Since then everyday, I have had a call, text or email stating again the same thing and I’ve talked to each sales rep or “manager” or I get told someone will reach out. Yeah I’m sure for a dang sale not to actually listen to me. Never a call back. I’m not surprised. I swear they hire the rudest people in the area. I’m personally looking else where to trade in my bad “Honda of Fort Myers” purchase. I even mention them elsewhere and people nod in agreement. Deuces to that.Review from Genesis H

Rafael went out of his way to help us get into a new car after we had a horrible experience with Kia of Cape Coral earlier this year. He was honest & trustworthy unlike our last finance guy. The whole process was very quick as well, we were in & out 3x quicker than any other dealership we’ve been to. He deserves all the credit!Honda of Fort Myers Response
