    I purchased a 2022 Mazda CX-30 back in October, 2022. I also was sold ************** I did a loan pay down the following May of 2023 and requested a ************* cancellation and signed the documentation on june of 2023.( I had my car serviced the same day, so I know it was signed that day.) I reached out to my financial institution, after the 30 days processing time and they had not received a refund. I made phone calls to the dealership asking for a finance representative to please call me back, ( no one gives a direct line or name of contact), to find out the status of my cancellation. I called Mazda ************* in December of 2023 and they claim, they never received a signed form from them to cancel. I could in fact cancel that day (December), but they will only retro back 30 days, if I send the form myself to them and it could take an additional 30 days. They explained, if the dealership send the documentation, they will retro back 180 days. Obviously, a huge difference in a refund. I explained to the Mazda ************* group that the Mazda dealership does not return phone calls and they failed to send my signed documentation back in June. They told me there was nothing they could do about the particular dealership, that I would have to call and resolve myself. I have made several attempts to get a finance rep to call me and then I personally spoke to the general manager of the dealership (name JP) and he said he would have someone call me that day. No one has called me back and now its January 15, ****. 7 months after I signed the ************* cancellation form. I called Mazda *********** back to have my case escalated, since I am having no cooperation with Mazda Dealership, she tells me again, they cannot do anything about the dealership. I filled a complaint with Mazda corporate headquarters. today.

    Hidden fees, undisclosed packages and warranty added. My 21 year old daughter purchased a cx50 in Mazda of Fort Myers on November 21-2023.. with a down payment she traded her 2019 Mazda cx3 for - brand new car. Rodrigo offered her a deal for around 30k for a new cx50 (she refused all extras packages and warranties at that time) yet the loan the dealer submitted to the bank was over 36k. The guy who prepared and signed the transaction pressured her again to get different packages, AGAIN SHE REFUSED ALL but the gap insurance. Yet he added A warranty for 3+k and some other “protection for 1500 and a hidden fee of 700 $ and I say hidden because it was not itemized on the fees and charges list. It was only when the bank posted the loan that we noted this fraud. We came back to the dealer the next week and they played dumb, an “innocent mistake” (of over 5k) she signed a cancellation on all extra packages and Alex told her in 30 days she would get a refund. 30 days had passed, no refund and now they are playing dumber. It’s like Alex and Rodrigo haD never met us before today. My honest review is that even If Mazda of Fort Myers it’s the last and only car dealership on earth after a catastrophic event. Don’t do it. Don’t trust them. When we asked when we were getting the refund because extra 5K were accruing interest they said “yeah but it’s nothing” because for Mazda of fort Myers 5k plus interest of your money wrongly charged it’s nothing. Run people.

    The customer came in to the dealership and reviewed the numbers on her deal.  She chose to cancel some of the products she originally signed for and the cancellation process on those products has been started.  We are not sure why the cancellations were not processed earlier, but we have ensured that we have done what is necessary for that process to start at this time.  We apologize for any confusion during this process.
