      Purchased chair on January 26. They confirmed purchase. After a couple if ***************** caked to say he was out of town for a while, nad was now home to get working on my purchase. Again some time passed,he called again an needed additional money for shipping. The original purchase was made with ***** Additional payment of 105 was sent. Pick up dates stated 3/7-3-13. Heard nothing until 4/4, when he stated he did have shipper. Received a text showing now shipper in ******* on the 20. On 4/26 received call from shipper saying he would be delivering around may 3. May 6 received call he would not deliver chair because. He was never payed from ***. Has the chair but wont deliver it until he is payed.

      Hello! WoW!!..WHAT a terrible merchant I am!! WHAT EXACTLY is your complaint? OH, that's right!, you don't have a legitimate complaint!! Let's review the order, shall we? Well, at least that's correct, ***** purchased the Chair, A THOUSAND DOLLAR LEXINGTON ***************** ROYAL KAHALA PACIFIC RIM TORTOISE SHELL ROLLING DINING/ DESK/ ACCENT CHAIR on 1/26/24 for $296 dollars TOTAL INCLUDING the INCORRECT $125 dollar shipping option. First thing she neglected to mention was that SHE made a mistake and chose shipping option for *************, $125 dollars, NOT the correct option for *************/ ************ which runs $385-$485 for non parcel items! I'm located in *************, shipping to there is OBVIOUSLY much cheaper than **. SHE DID NOT contact me. SHE DID NOT do her due diligence and read My Policies. SHE DID NOT follow the highlighted shipping icon blatantly in your face all throughout the checkout process which contains more pertinent shipping information aside from all of the info located in My Policies which she chose NOT to read and review. I was out of town for a few weeks for a very personal funeral when the order was received which occurred 4 days after that wonderful man's death. Normal situation, I contact immediately after an order to show my gratitude and discuss anything necessary pertaining to the order. In this situation, I'm shut down until I return home. Absolutely no problem with this particular order as I have a 1-16, repeat, SIXTEEN! week lead time for non parcel items. Of course she's not aware of this because SHE DID NOT read My Policies PRIOR to ordering. Actually, aside from dealing with immediate sales inquiries, listing her Chair on UShip was the ONLY work I did while I was shut down!! NO problem T. Emailed on 2/14/24 to express my thanks, apologies for the delay, explain the situation and to let her know I'd be in touch later as we had lots to discuss. When we spoke, I notified her that she chose the wrong shipping option, ** was $385-$485, REPEAT, $385-$485!!,, but I have several shipments heading West, so I'll try and get a bulk price to get her the best possible deal, but will most certainly exceed the $125 dollars she paid. I was also very clear that there is up to a 16 week lead time. And as I tell ALL of my Customers any chance I get, "Please go to the Top Menu of my website and READ ALL OF MY POLICIES." Did she cancel then? Ask for a refund? NOPE! And BTW, ALL throughout my website are these 3 crucial words, ALL SALES FINAL!!!! Of course, also located in My Policies not only on my website, but on my separate invoice as well which she received with the additional shipping charge! THEREFORE, it's settled and I began finalizing the shipping. ABSOLUTELY ANY AND EVERYONE reading this right now who has dealt with UShip KNOWS just how terrible that can be and that complete dissatisfaction frequently occurs! About 90% of the time! I've dealt with high hundreds, more probable, THOUSANDS of shippers over the last 8 years! I KNOW how to deal with them but it's SO OVERWHELMINGLY EXHAUSTING, it literally forced me to personally do all of my own shipping except anything ********** a few years ago!! NOT ONLY did I manage to get her a fabulous deal IF split evenly, but I even went a step further and took more money off hers and added to my other shipments! DON'T even believe I received a THANK YOU for that effort! YOU'RE WELCOME. $230 dollars!! A steal! Here's her next omission, pick up dates WERE NOT 3/7-3/13! PROJECTED pick up dates were. From the initial UShip order. Anyone not familiar with the definition of projected, please learn it now. 'ETA', ESTIMATED, PROJECTED mean just that!! THEY ARE ADJECTIVES THAT GO IN FRONT OF OTHER WORDS FOR A REASON!??! I told her then, and 4,5, 6ish more times since then, SHIPPERS LIE!, their schedules/routes constantly change, and again, estimated, projected!! "I WILL BE IN TOUCH WHEN ******* IS PHYSICALLY HERE PICKING UP." Had to tell her that on MULTIPLE occasions and ALL IS COVERED IN MY POLICIES which I will be attaching. It will blow your mind how Blunt, Honest, Straightforward My Policies are!! (It's ABSOLUTELY INSANE that any retailer literally tells people not to buy from him on his own website!! Being in Sales and **************** virtually my entire life, do you realize just how ludicrous that is!! BAD customers is what forces me to do it. I think I'll start up the ***** ~Better **************** All to try and protect myself in these instances. Unfortunately, sadly, disgustingly!, normally, to no avail. I have POLICIES FOR A REASON, yet Credit Card Companies, Banks, Venmo, Shopify etc etc dictate them and make them irrelevant!? Customers ignore them. Then scream Return, Refund when they don't get their way. Whose Business is it????) THIS is EXACTLY why!!!! I would rather NOT get the order at all which is very clearly expressed than deal with THIS, Disputes, Chargebacks etc. They are LITERALLY devastating to Small Businesses, yet HERE WE ARE! The final text explaining, repeating for the 5thish time, again, also located in My Policies, "I WILL BE IN TOUCH WHEN SHIPPER IS PHYSICALLY HERE PICKING UP" is attached. JUST LOOK how many times shippers ETA changed!! ESTIMATED!! "Heard nothing until 4/4" is a blatant lie! See attached. READ My Policies!!.. NO UPDATES!! SO!, emails attached from 4/24/24 and 4/25/24 confirming pick up. Now to the part which is absolutely mind boggling!!,, AFTER booking shipper for multiple shipments including ******* order, I added a large order for Colorado to the shippers pick up. 2 Couches, a Loveseat and 2 End Tables. Before his arrival, my work van broke down and was going to cost me over $1800 to fix. I explained to the shipper that he could WAIT until his next trip to take ********, JUST ordered and NO RUSH for it, OR as long as he was OK with DELAYED PAYMENT, he could take it now. HE CHOSE TO TAKE IT NOW!!!! LET ME BE VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS SUBSTANTIAL **** AS WELL, SHIPPERS GET PAID UPON DELIVERY!! NOT BEFORE!!!! I once again went above and beyond and gave the shipper $400 up front at pickup and have already paid UShip meaning I owed him a whopping $155 dollars once the ** Chair was delivered. So, remember SHIPPERS LIE!?.. This clown didn't just lie, he broke his word. YOUR WORD is VERY important to me and MEANS A LOT. It's SURELY how I was raised! Correlates with RESPECT! He delivered CO, **, ** no problem, but then, Sunday rolled around and he texted me his truck broke down. Then the Monday texts!!.. Here we go. Started DEMANDING payment or else!!.. threatening everything under the sun, but most importantly, holding ******* Chair HOSTAGE!! What an idiot. Told him over and over to do the math. I'll pay the $155 owed once the Chair is in my customers hands. He refused over and over and over. NO matter how much logic I put in his brain. ALL amicable negotiations are out the door. I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE LET HIM TAKE ********!! KNEW IT!! MY BAD. Although HE AGREED to the **** that CO payment would be delayed, HERE WE ARE. He's trying to lump in the CO payment with these other shipments, going against his word. HIS WORD IS THE REAL, MY BAD. I'm preeeetty confident he couldn't afford the repairs, no gas money, something of that nature forcing the sudden aggressive bill collector behavior. And this leads me to why I am so dumbfounded!??!.... the texts were coming in from him, but also *****. I called her immediately and she didn't even have the decency to return my call to hear THE ****** my side of the story!??? WHY? Instead!, the next day I wake up to this BBB complaint or WHATEVER it is?? SLANDER!? DEFAMATION?! I'm SOOOO confused?!!? NOW, all the refund texts are coming in! I'm absolutely flabbergasted that MY CUSTOMER, to whom I've clearly explained ******** LIE and have done absolutely nothing but HELP HER get a fabulous $1000 dollar, $285-$485 shipped to ** from ************* Chair for $400 dollars TOTAL while abiding by and staying true to ALL of My Policies thus far, just decides to completely side with this Lying, NO WORD HAVING, meaning NO INTEGRITY, NO CHARACTER, ETC, Et Cetera Clown Shipper instead of me???? I've done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG!!!!!!!! NOW!, according to him, he's keeping the Chair until paid. I WILL NOT PAY HIM ANOTHER CENT until he delivers the Chair. DO THE ****** These 2 seem so incahoots with their new found relationship, for all I know, she HAS the Chair in her possession??!! Regardless, as of now, to my knowledge, the Chair is stolen from Balboa Express. I must add, while searching everywhere possible since this altercation, ABSOLUTELY NO ONLINE PRESENCE for them!??! WHAT'S that tell ya!! Must be a fabulous, upstanding legitimate business! If she has not received it by my 16 week lead time date of 5/26/24 and he continues to refuse delivery, I will be calling his local police and reporting it stolen. Shoot!, I'll go ahead and throw in one of these BBB Complaints while I'm at it! If she has not received it by said deadline, I will happily refund her. She can then proceed to buy it from her new found shipping ******* I DON'T CARE, but he WILL be held liable for the theft. As far as I can see, she has enabled and appears to have supported his reckless actions. SHIPPERS GET PAID AT DELIVERY *****!! Even UShip, the LARGEST shipping platform on this planet does not pay their shippers UNTIL confirmation of delivery. I personally learned my ****** the first time I shipped to CA years and years and years ago. Furniture and money stolen! I won in the end, but I NEVER pay shippers until I get pics of my items at their final destination.... THOUSANDS of TREASURES shipped all over The World for over 8 years!! Also, NEVER had a BBB complaint. THANK YOU SO MUCH for that *****! SO Kind. ALL I did was try and help. ***** should have NEVER been brought into this situation AT ALL. Just more proof of her new ********************* the Shippers idiocy!! THAT'S MY STORY! It's NON FICTION. HAVE A LOVELY MORNING, DAY, NIGHT!! THX ***)

      I am rejecting this response because: I still do not have the chair. I do not know the shipper. *** hired the shipper. If there is a way to contact the delivery person and find the chair. Im out the chair and the money. I have repeatedly called and texted ***. Have all emails and texts.
